Even Hotter
Being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power. Daniel 3:27 Fire burns everything away except what cannot be destroyed. Fire exposes what cannot be destroyed. They looked in the furnace and saw someone in the fire with the three men. God will not leave you alone in the fire. When you stay in the fire people will see that you are not alone. They will bear witness to a great sight: Someone can actually withstand the flames they have built. Fire exposes what is within and what is without. It will expose who is in the fire and the ones who built it. The fire will expose the ones who built the fire. It will reveal the intentions, motivation, desires, and plans. And the fire will reveal the fortitude, strength, and resolve of the one enduring the flames. Stay in the fire. Don’t be afraid to let it do its work. Fire can burn, but it cannot burn you! Remember how they got in the fire. They were thrown into a situation and someone started the fire. This situation was not of their making, but God allowed it. And he stayed with them. He walked with them through the flames. And those who were gathered together saw it. They stayed in the fire but they didn’t get burned. Let your focus be on the one walking with you in the fire – not on the fire. Don’t worry about how hot it gets. It will get hotter. Just remember that you are under the protection of Almighty God. No matter how hot the fire burned, the men were protected. The fire could not harm them. It could frighten them, but it could not harm them. The fire is a test. Don’t let it stress. Let it strengthen you. Let it burn. Even hotter. The fire will burn even hotter until the fear of the fire is gone. Stay in the fire until the fire completes its work. The fire has a purpose. God can use the ashes from the fire to bring forth beauty. God can use the flames of the fire to destroy the useless and bring forth the useful. Everything that God put in you will be brought forth. The fire will expose it and set it free. Stay in the fire. Stay there until the fire completes its work. Then God will use what it produces for the greater good of all mankind.
