Poem

Remember life goes on! Charity is the act of love for those who are spiritually dead

Divya Sharma

Jaipur: Charity brings to life again those who are spiritually dead. Charity is the act of love spreading kindness among the people who are unable to feel what love and happiness are actually, this is a conscious act but involves our heart to do it, without expecting any reward. When this is done selflessly, it is called a one-way act where we give without asking anything in return. A pure form of love and the best act of nature makes it soulful. People believe charity should start from home but I believe charity originates

from heart and soul for people who need it. However, it is written that charity starts from the heart as you feel the urge of giving, which begins from home, ultimately extending it to society. It is an essential part

and meant to be done for the public benefit, relief and to assist people many times in need. This should be specially done for those who are the victims of war, natural disaster, hunger, disease, poverty, orphans.

Such charitable work, purposes, and programs can gain momentum from advancing the education of young people. When we talk about poverty in the developing world, people feel sorrow but seem to put no effort, charity helps in such conditions. The greatest gift to our community would be when we contribute to making the livelihood of needy people better, spreading right to the neediest, and enlighten our souls in the process. The charity has made a huge impact in the lives of the people and helped them and bring smiles back to their faces.

Between heartbreak, One will be the reason to fix it again… Between sadness, One will be the reason to smile again… Just remember life goes on, You won’t get a chance to relive it again…. Love what you got and remember what you had, Always forgive, but never forget, Learn from mistakes but never regret… People come and go….. But just remember life goes on, You won’t get a chance to relive it again…. ...Arshita Kriplani

The Woman with no face! Decision making: One of the most common used topics while writing an article

Yashika Talreja

Kota: Khadija Khatoon, a 23 years old girl from Kolkata suffers from what doctors believe to be a severe case of neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder of the nerve system which causes tumors to grow on nerve tissues. The tumor has grown on her head which has caused her face to become obscured over time as the tumor was small when she was born but covered her face when she grew up. The weight of her tumor is 600 grams currently.

When she was little her family took her to the doctors but at that time it was deemed too difficult to remove the tumor without risking her life. Due to her unfortunate appearance, Khadija has struggled to make friends and often gets stared at when she leaves the house. While the family waits for a safer solution to help her reduce or remove the growth on her face they are also raising money to go towards her treatment in the hope that something will be able to help her in the future despite the hardship she faces Khadija remains positive about her life.

Shivam Batra Jaipur: Decision making one of the most commonly used topics while writing an article and yet it’s still hard for us to make a good decision for ourselves, society, family, relationships etc. So at first and the foremost important A question that is asked by everyone is that how to make a good decision in life? There is no specific answer to this question because first, we need

to understand that we all make mistakes even some of the greatest people have made some mistakes but what we can do is that we can avoid making a dumb decision and we should always learn from our past mistakes and making moves that would eliminate those mistakes. Smart people are way too preoccupied

with doing the right things. They want to have a perfect life, career, house, business, car, holiday, etc. When you put too much pressure on yourself to make the right decisions, you get analysis paralysis. The earlier and more you decide, the more chance that you make better decisions. We often say that there is no right or wrong decision. That is not entirely accurate. Of course, there is a difference in the quality of our choices.

The Big Bull

Movie Review

Abhishek makes a mark, film doesn’t

Oshil Chawda

Great things never come from comfort zone!

Jaipur: The story of Harshad Mehta and his involvement in India’s first major financial fraud has captured the imagination of today’s growing middle-class. His daring acts of overt financial trickery are as revolting to some, as they are an effective channel of indirect thrills to others. The film is set in the late 80s and early 90s, and kookie treats The Big Bull with the cinematic insight of that era. While this tone certainly works in places, Hemant Shah’s rise is peppered with one too many fiery punch lines. Abhishek Bachchan delivers a decent performance, even though his character could have done with so much more depth and detail. For starters, his appearance remains quite constant from his youth to middle-age, making it hard to believe that his character has indeed come a long way. The repeated loud and fake laughter

shots, look forced and his chemistry with Nikita Dutta is sorely lacking. Their scenes and an odd love-song shot in Delhi, only slow down the pace further. The film’s dialogues too are quite ineffective like, ‘hamare paas bhagwaan se bhi zyada paise hain.’ Most of the dialogues don’t move the characters to make them look powerful even when the scenes demand so. Ileana D’Cruz as the journalist Meera Rao, who works after Hemant’s scams, puts up an

honest performance. Sohum Shah as Hemant’s younger brother Viren is decent and so are most of the seasoned character actors like Saurabh Shukla and Ram Kapoor. Overall, ‘The Big Bull’ is a decent attempt to tell a dramatic story of one of India’s biggest financial scams, arrange by a man, who seemed more like a common man. Watch it if you’re an Abhishek Bachchan fan, but don’t let the stock of your expectations rise too high.
