prices of the equipment’s were increased. The combies of smart phones such as Samsung galaxy

J7 were increased from 800 to 1500 which about just double of the earlier price. They told us the reason behind it. They said, “Until the import from china will not be started the prices will remain high”. They also told us that people will not come to them till the prices are high as they believe that it is the cheapest market and if they are having high price then people would get it done somewhere else why they would come so far. Then we talked to customer who were present there, they also told the same thing that if prices are high in the particular market then they would get it done in their nearby market only why they would come to Raisar Plaza.

Rahul Nambiar Jaipur. ICC Cricket Committee under the leadership of former Indian cricketer Anil Kumble decided to proceed some changes in the decision review system (DRS) Protocols but backed the system of umpires call. In this new decision, ICC decided to agree to increase the height of the 'Wicket Zone' - the area of the stumps, the tracking technology should show the balls to hit it out to change the on-field Umpire's decision- to top of the bails. Previously, the area was only limited to only the bottom part of the bails, so in response of it, the outcome prevails as an Umpire's Call. The third umpire can also now check the decisions of all short runs and can correct any decisions before any delivery bowled.

Open mics: Giving voice to local artists Jaipur is having several open mic platforms to encourage new young talented artists

Tanishka Waghnani Jaipur: Human beings by nature likes to express their art. Open mics is one such platform. It is an entertainment event where artists can express any kind of art form whether it is poem, a song or a piece of comedy. Open mics does not only entertain the audience but also gives a platform to new aspiring artists to showcase their talent, and address some serious social issues. Jaipur being one of the most youthful cities has several open mics organisations like “Give me mic, Awaaz, Kala, Qalam, Chingaaari, and so on”. The youth generally like to spend their weekend evenings in open mic events listening to songs, poems, stories, laughing

ganisations planned online open mics for the artists on Zoom video app with huge audience.

In conversation with Muskaan Bansal, the founder of Chingaari, an organisation that plans regular

open mics in cafes round Jaipur, told us that the audience generally likes comedy and listening to light songs. She also added that most of the time, events do not have a fixed amount ticket, the shows are mostly “pay as you like” so they audience could pay according to them or as per they like the show. Open mics are a good platform for local comedians, poets, musician or any other artist because they provide a platform to express their art, build up confidence for the stage and remove their stage fear. We all should be promoting such kind of events. Chingaaari is the only one organisation which is organising shows on ‘pay as you like basis’ in Jaipur.

Box Cricket: The new era of the game All round performance helps KKR win its first match

Nishant Bharatiya Jaipur: Cricket, a sport that enjoys the status of being a religion in India, has evolved with time. It has evolved so much that there is a new form of cricket. This new form of cricket is known by the name of box cricket which is played at playspace sports complex Nirman nagar Jaipur. It was introduced in the city three years ago though this trend was not spreading at the beginning of its settlement but with time it grew and people became a little aware of it. Box cricket is basically cricket played in a small area covered by nets. It doesn’t have a particular dimension of the field or the rules for the game. People can come and bend the rules according to them but not all of them.

Rahul Nambiar

Budding Journalist interacted with owner of Playspace. Playspace basically provides a platform for corporate employees to get together and play. It is not just for competition, it is also a platform for socializing. The hourly cost for using the field is 2000 INR. Playspace opens up at 6 in the morning till 10 in the morning and then again from 4 in the evening

to around 10 in the night. Playspace is easily available during week days but it gets pre booked on weekends. Mostly working professionals are more focused on box cricket as it is cheaper than a ground and needs less maintenance and they can play here after their office hours.

The Test

Web Series Review

A magnificent insider of a team culture

Rahul Nambiar

Jaipur: Very seldom we see the web series coming with the concept of sport as a nonfiction with more of the players themselves in the screen and yes, “The Test “is all like that. The Test is a documentary web series. This series is all about the insights and the behind the scenes of Australian cricket team which will tell you more about the dressing room culture, players perspectives, Coach’s views, their struggle of reviving their team spirit from the Sandpaper controversy of Capetown 2018

to retaining their prestigious urn of Ashes series in England against England in 2019. This

series consists of 8 episodes which will give you some amazing stories of the Cricket their resilience by winning the series in India against India in 2019, their world cup campaign and the penultimate how they gripped their prestige by retaining the ashes against England. The players like Aaron Finch, Steve Smith, Head Coach Justin Langer and many other players and staff will tell you more about their struggles and scenes of Australian dressing room. Ultimately, if you are an ardent fan of cricket, definitely it can come in the watch list section.
