Young Genius: No age to set a world record

Learning through creative ways Budding Journalist interacted with world record holder Akshat Khandal

Special Interview

Dayansh Jain Jaipur: In the competitive world, when academic pressures is increasing on the students and they are trying to focus on everything, there is Akshat Khandal, 17-year-old boy who made two world records. The idea of making world record came to his head from a search of a very silly question “how to be famous?” His first world record was in 9th grade, where Akshat recited Euler’s formula 10000 decimals of “E” term in 1 hour 38 minutes with 100% accuracy. Akshat made his 2nd world record recently on 8th January 2021 where again here recited the

thousand decimals reversed after the value of pie which is 3.14 in just 14 minutes and 10 seconds. Akshat does not only focus on making the world records. He is a brilliant student. In 10th grade Akshat got 93% in his board exams and he choose science as his stream. After 10thgrade Akshat decided to do a start-up called as Akshat Transforming lifes, a memory training course. Akshat meet Rohan Chaubey who impacted a major part of his life. Rohan Chaubey is a top growth hacker; he published a book called “growth hacking book” edition two were there was a chapter dedicated to Akshat Khandal.

This was one of the major achievements for Akshat because there were 100 authors from more than 20+ countries and he got to be a part of it. Another major incident of his life was when he got the news that Unacademy app has taken his record’s news as current affair question. His life story inspires a lot of youngsters to reach at their goals. Akshat is a two times world record holder, memory trainer, entrepreneur, inspirational speaker and an international best-selling author at just the age of 17 years. Keep opinion out of news reports

M. Rajendran Editor of Outlook Group addressed ‘Changing nature of budget coverage in media’

Ghanistha Vyas

Jaipur: Former Editor-Outlook, Former Business Editor- The New Indian Express and Former associate editor-Outlook Money Rajendran Manoharan has given an expert lecture on 6th February 2021. He was putting his view in an event organize by the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, JECRC University Jaipur. Rajendran Manoharan explained various parts of Indian budget. During the whole session he,

kept adding that a journalist should never include his\her opinions about any news may it be budget or any other news. He said that we should not be judging any part of budget and should never favour any group of the society. He informed the

students about the old ways of budget coverage, in today`s era we have a lot of ways to reach and understand budget but earlier the reports and also the general public had to wait for the proper news or explanation of the budget. Earlier when the budget

was announced, reports had to record the whole speech or they were given a printed copy of that speech which reached them after four to six hours, they got printed form of budgetary information and then they had to understand it, interpret it and then explain it to general public through news. It was a tedious task for journalists and analysts few years ago but now due to the introduction of several ways it is quiet easy for every single person to go through the budget and it also saves a lot of time.
