Toplantıda konuşan TOBB Makine Komitesi Başkanı Merih Eskin, sektörde katma değerli üretim yapılması gerektiğini vurgulayarak, bunların başında da makine sektörünün geldiğini söyledi. Zor bir sektör olmasına rağmen, sektörde faaliyet gösteren firma temsilcilerinin, her türlü platformda sorunlarını dile getirmesi gerektiğini belirtti. Ortak Ar-Ge proje çalışması ile sorunların daha kısa ve daha az maliyetle çözülebileceğini söyleyen Eskin, bunun için sizlerle sürekli işbirliği içerisinde olacaklarını dile getirdi. İHKİB Başkanı İsmail Gülle ise konuşmasında, geçmişten günümüze Türkiye tekstil sektörü hakkında bilgi verdi. Yerli makine ile başlayan tekstil üretim macerasının artık yabancı maki-
nelerle devam ettiğine dikkat çeken Gülle, yerli imalatçıların yerli makine kullanımı konusunda ciddi sıkıntıları olduğunu söyledi. Burada yerli makine üreticilerinin daha dikkatli olması gerektiğini ayrıca makine üreticilerimizin kendilerini yeterince ifade edemediklerini belirtti. İthalatla ilgili ciddi mücadeleler verdiklerinin altını çizen Gülle, “Bizler sektörün geleceğine inanıyoruz ve yatırım yapıyoruz. Siz de inanın ve çalışmalarınızı sürdürün. Bizim artık makas değiştirip, vites büyütmemiz gerekiyor. Birbirimize inanmamız ve kendimizi iyi ifade etmemiz lazım” dedi. Toplantı sonunda, TEMSAD Başkanı ve bazı yönetim kurulu üyeleri, sektörde faaliyet gösteren ve emeği geçen kişi ve kuruluşlara plaket verdiler.

Besides, he also mentioned that R&D project works might help to solve problems in shorter time and at lower costs, adding that he will dedicate himself to continuous collaboration for that purpose. İHKİB Chairman İsmail Gülle provided information on the Turkish textile sector from past to present. Pointing out that the adventure of textile productions, which got its start with domestic machines, continues with foreign machines nowadays, Gülle said that domestic manufacturers have been facing
serious problems with regard to the use of domestic machines. He noted that domestic machine manufacturers are supposed to be more cautious at this point and that our machine manufacturers fail to express themselves properly. With an emphasis on the serious struggles regarding imports, Gülle said “We believe and invest in the sector’s future. You should too, and continue to work with determination. Now, we have to change switches, shift up gears. We need to believe each other and express ourselves properly.” At the end of the meeting, the TEMSAD Chairman and some board members awarded plaques to certain persons and corporations for their contributions to the sector.
