enco Pack, Form-Fill-Seal Division of Sacmi Group, has successfully delivered a new fully aseptic packaging line equipped with I.S.A., the integrated device for cup decoration with shrink sleeve labels, to Fonti di Vinadio (www.santanna.it) for the packaging of their new ice-tea Santhé in single-service 200 ml thermoformed cups. Thanks to the particular cup shape, Santhe’ can be drunk both using the straw glued on each single cup, and directly from the cup by pealing the lid Santhé is available in two package configurations: multipacks of 2x2 (consumer market) and multipacks of 2x3 (HORECA). Santhé is a real tea infusion available in three different flavours: lemon, peach and green tea.

steps from filling up to straw application on each single cup, cartoning into display boxes and palletizing are completely automated thanks to Sacmi Group’s wide experience in beverage plants. This packaging line, thanks to an innovative and integrated process, allows packaging and labeling up to 18.000 cups/hr. Thanks to a unique technology in the world (Benco Pack patent) it is possible to thermoform, fill, seal and sleever the cups in line starting from packaging materials supplied in rolls. The thermo-shrinkage device integrated in the FFS line allows applying sleeve labels onto the cups by steam jets having a duration of 0,8 seconds. The steam consumption of this innovative system is directly proportional to the working speed and much reduced vs the traditional thermo-shrinking tunnels.
