Proceeds from the license plate sales will support youth golf programming that fosters qualities such as sportsmanship, honesty, community involvement and academic excellence. Additionally these proceeds will fund scholarships to recognize student athletes who exude these qualities and are moving on to higher education. The cost of the license plate is only $25/ year ($50/year if personalized) and the Southwest PGA Foundation will receive $17 from each license plate sold to continue facilitating programs that strengthen our communities. The Southwest PGA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that serves as the charitable arm of the Southwest Section PGA and its more than 1,300 PGA golf professionals. Established in 1998, the organization focuses its community eﬀorts on promoting the goodwill and growth of the game of golf with an emphasis on activities that beneﬁt at-need families and children. Funds are raised primarily through annual events and activities such as the Southwest PGA Foundation Pro-Am and PGA Golf Day. The Foundation also accepts restricted and unrestricted gifts and grants, along with planned giving programs and bequests.
