ABOUT STC
STC, also known as “Sung Tien Collaboration”, aims to bring people together in synergistic ways so that the whole is much more than the sum of its parts. “Sung Tien” is a Chinese saying for following the heavens. We believe that doing good naturally brings good outcomes, and through the process, we can have a positive impact on those around us. Our expertise and people-oriented philosophy have proven to be key in successfully connecting members of our community so that each can benefit from the others and ultimately promote the well-being of everyone. As a derivative of that philosophy, we established Sung Tien Collaboration Foundation, aka STC FOUNDATION in 2012 to promote an appreciation of Asian culture and its arts, to educate and enrich our community and to instill social and moral values in our younger generation. Most importantly, we wish to unite our community for a better future. As both real estate experts and members of the community, STC MANAGEMENT strives to educate its valued clients and prepare them with the best advantage possible in today’s economy. As an Accredited Management Organization (AMO), we create value for clients through a combination of managing, leasing and brokering real estate investments. STC Foundation designed three main programs to serve and spread the foundation’s message of inspiring benevolence through doing good deeds and promoting a positive impact on the environment. By sharing our cultural experience, we hope to instill social and moral values in future generations and create a brighter future.
Sunlight, air, and water are three of the most common and universal elements of nature that allow for the continuation of life and growth on Earth. Human morality and its future are likewise influenced by the three elements of “Health, Love, Wisdom” allowing for the preservation of future and development of persona. As such, the future of humankind is in the hands of children. Through STC’s Youth Leadership Camp, we wish to emphasize the importance of these three elements by teaching children to have a sound character, maintain a correct outlook on life, and pursue happiness. These inalienable factors, similar to air, water, and sunlight are essential to promoting a brighter future.

The goal of the STC Foundation Cultural Exchange Program is to spread understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture and arts through community events. We wish to enrich the lives of people in the community, to portray and express the beauty of Chinese culture, and to provide interesting and entertaining events, shows, and performances.
STC Foundation started the Asian Youth Recognition Program in 2013 to spotlight exceptional young Asian adults in our community in hopes of motivating and inspiring them. Although this program is still under development, we hope it will become a reliable resource our community can count on and tap into.
順天聯合文化交流藝術團 的目標是通過社區活動發 揚和傳播中國文化。每一場社區 活動都旨在讓參與者受益，並展 現炎黃子孫豐富的文化背景。我們希望藉此豐富民眾 的文化生活，描繪和傳達中國文化之美，並呈獻有趣 的活動和表演。
自2013年，STC基金會開始企劃亞 裔青少年計畫。該計劃的目的是， 表彰我們周圍具有優異表現的亞裔青 少年，希望能盡其所能給予激勵及鼓 舞。這個進行中的計畫希望能發展成一個可靠穩健 的平台，在未來幫助社區和更多優秀的青少年，讓他 們綻放光彩。

三太子 Electronic Third Prince
The modern Electronic Third Prince is a subculture of Taiwan, and is a combination of electronic music with traditional folk performance troupes and Prince.
電音三太子是台灣興起的一種表演次文化， 為電音、本土次文化與傳統民俗藝陣三太子的 結合。 三太子真實身分根據名字哪吒判斷是 來自印度的神，應屬佛教，但現在台灣民 間普遍見到的三太子是以道教身分出 現。道教以其為護法主將，凡瘟疫 或驅邪消災都祭拜太子爺以化 難解厄。
大頭娃娃 Big Head Dolls The Big Head Dolls are often seen at lantern festivals, performed by dancers wearing a helmet like headgear when dancing.
Legend claims that with the Big Head Doll dance, bad spirits can be scared away, so the crops will be plentiful, and people can live harmoniously. Some scholars claim the origin of the Big Head Doll can be traced back in China with the time span of one thousand and six hundred years. 大頭娃娃是指一些地方過元宵節的時候，一些 舞蹈演員頭上戴著大大的類似頭盔的東西。 關於大頭娃娃，民間有很多相關的傳說。說大 頭娃娃可以驅鬼，戴上這個以後，莊稼可以 豐收，人民生活可以安康，人們生 活得地區可以非常和諧。大頭娃娃 的淵源，來自印度佛教在中國發 展約一千六百年的時光。
Dance
China has a long recorded history of various dance forms. There are also 56 officially recognized ethnic groups in China, and each ethnic minority group in China has its own folk dances.

Wushu武術
Chinese martial arts, colloquially referred to as kung fu or wushu, are a number of fighting styles that have developed over the centuries in China. These styles that focus different methods of study and geographical association, as in northern and southern, are popular classification methods.
中國武術是中國傳統文化的重要一環，故又稱「國粹」。由於歷 史發展和地域分佈關係，衍生出不同門。不同範疇著重體育、健 身、氣功、及養生不同領域。中國武術往往帶有思想冶鍊的文 化特徵及人文哲學的特色、意義，對現今中國的大眾文化有著 深遠影響。
Dragon Dance舞龍
Dragon Dance history can be dated back to the Han Dynasty (180-230 AD) in ancient China and, like the lion dance, plays an important part in Chinese culture. The Dragon itself has always been regarded as a Sacred creature, symbolizing power, courage, righteousness and dignity amongst others.
「龍」到現在仍被民間視為祥瑞的代表，從古今書畫、陶瓷、絲綢編織，玉 石雕刻等都可以見到龍的蹤影。而 「舞龍」更被尊崇 為大型慶典之必備節 目，增添熱鬧的氣 氛，也希望能夠 「趨吉避凶」， 帶來吉祥與好 運。
舞獅 Lion Dance
Lion Dance is a form of traditional dance in Chinese culture, in which performers mimic a lion’s movements in a lion costume. According to the folklore, the art of lion dancing began over thousands of years ago. The Dance is commonly considered to bring good luck and happiness to an occasion.

2012 NEW YEAR COUNTDOWN CONCERT 洛城星光跨年演唱會 at Yes Plaza

Yes Plaza has hosted tens of thousands of spectators for our annual New Year Countdown Event. Running for 6 years and counting, this exciting spectacle always has something new to offer the community at large. This past year featured Chinese Million Star finalist, Sharon Kwan Kwan was discovered in the previous year, when the Chinese Million Star Singing Competition was held at STC Center. Kwan’s talent shined over her competitors, resulting in her winning a trip to Taiwan in order to compete against other finalists of the Chinese Million Star Singing Competition. At the age 16, Kwan became the fist ever winner.

STC, Dance Impression Productions (DIP) and Institute of Chinese Martial Arts (ICMA) were honorably invited by Disneyland to perform for the 2012 Lunar New Year Celebration Events. STC, Dance Impression Productions (DIP) and Institute of Chinese Martial Arts (ICMA) presented an exciting Dragon Dance and various Chinese traditional dances. 舞印舞蹈中心暨舞印製作和 STC Foundation受邀參與2012龍年春節慶典，於春節前後 兩周期間在南加州迪士尼主題樂園和頂級渡假旅館，進行了5天20場盛大演出，包括了由 STC、舞印製作和中華武術學院精心打造的舞龍、中國民族舞蹈等表演。

40TH BUCKBOARD DAYS PARADE 第四十屆年度羅蘭崗花車遊行暨園遊會 October 20 At the 40th annual Buckboard Days Parade, STC Collaboration, partnered by STC Management, Dance Impressions Productions, Institute of Chinese Martial Arts, and STC Center presented a variety of chinese culture through chinese dances, martial arts, Electronic Third Princes, lion dances, and, of course, our 25ft tall STC Boy in a red bib made by ourselves, perfectly reflecting the theme, “Diverse Community United in Service”. Special thanks to those who have put great efforts into this parade, including Philip Entertainment Production who provided audio system support, CIMA Picture who recorded our whole event, and all STC family members. We hope everyone enjoyed the parade! 在這第40屆羅蘭崗花車遊行上，STC以“STC順天聯合（STC Center）“的身份組成隊伍。STC順天聯 合目前融合了STC資產管理（STC Management） 、舞印舞蹈中心暨舞印製作（DIP）以及中華武術 學院（ICMA）三個團體。我們的隊伍試圖向社區展示中國的多元文化，以呼應本次“多種族融合互 助的社區”的遊行主題。 我們的隊伍中有身著各類中國民族舞蹈服裝的舞者表演舞蹈，有舞獅、九節鞭、太極等中華武術 的展示，有STC成員身著從台灣請來的電音三太子行頭跳舞，更有去年遊行就備受矚目的兩層樓高 的充氣STC Boy。為了體現中國文化，我們還親手為STC Boy縫製了有“福”字的肚兜。我們的花車 上有親手折的彩色花朵，也有展現社區多元性的各族裔居民的圖片。所有參加遊行的STC成員都換 上了體現他們各自文化背景的服裝，跟著音樂載歌載舞。 我們這次的遊行隊伍緊扣“多種族融合互助的社區”這一主題，展現了多元的中華文化。繼去年奪 得商業組第一名之後，今年更獲得了“花車／主題”的第一名，可謂實至名歸。

41th BUCKBOARD DAYS PARADE 第四十一屆年度羅蘭崗花車遊行 暨園遊會October 19 This year’s theme of the annual Buckboard Days Parade was “let’s Make Some Music”. Ms. Anne Ma was the mastermind that helped chreograph and coordinate the parade entry. In addition to a Ballerina Music Box float, there were also percussion instructions, booming drum beats, children in color ful costumes, martial arts acrobatics and choreogrpahic dancers to add icing on the cake. 10月19日，第四十一屆羅蘭崗馬車遊行暨園遊會熱鬧舉辦，STC連續第四年獲得第 一名的好成績。 STC 今年以新成立的順天聯合基金會的身份亮相，為呼應”讓我們把音樂帶起來” 的主題，手工製作了一台音樂盒形態的花車，上面是一位芭蕾舞者。更有近80位大、 小朋友跟著歡快的音樂起舞或搖動手中的自製樂器，與最受歡迎的電音三太子一同 將歡樂的氣氛帶給沿途觀眾。
