Honoring Christ by Serving the Needs of Children and Families
Picture this: it’s a beautiful day in South Florida... The tables and catered Kentucky Fried Chicken are set for the 250 guests; the items have been collected; Sheridan House is prepared for its first auction! This first Sheridan House fundraising event was expected to succeed! Everything is there...except one element: 244 of the guests! Only six people attended this extravagant meal and auction (and two of them had Barnes as their last name!) Despite this disappointing event, we continued to trust that God would provide and teach us, and He has! Spring Auction-2002
and He used this obstacle course race and the generous donors in the community to raise over $200,000. These funds will be used to run one of our boys’ homes for a year!
5o Years of Miracles
It is a privilege to see how God stretches and grows us through the act of trusting in Him. He is a faithful God and we believe He will continue to support the work Sheridan House is doing for His kingdom, just as He has throughout these 50 years of miracles.
Goliath Gauntlet-2018
After our first auction, the Sheridan House leaders learned to speak up more clearly about our events. The first golf tournament raised $2,500 making it much more successful than the auction. At the time, the staff was overjoyed by this amount, and we continue to be amazed by how God continues to provide with larger amounts! We are excited each year to raise support through six major fundraisers. It’s also been an evident blessing from God to look back to our first attendance count of six, to our most recent 2018 event, the Goliath Gauntlet, and the 2,000+ participants and volunteers there. God gives abundantly,

Get Tagged! When we get to 10,000 cars, the proceeds from the Family Values tag will completely fund one of our children’s homes! There is a one-time fee of $103 that the state of Florida charges but after that, the annual use fee is only $25.00 per year.
