ing of the complete series, which will be distributed for its broadcast in community, pro-indigenous, cultural, university, and authorized radio stations in Nahuatl speaking regions. It is also considered important to make it available to language teaching centers, libraries, and sound libraries where it can be consulted by the general public.

Lakanu, a boutique that promotes Morelos’ art Lakanu is a shop, but at the same time, a space for artists, producers, cultural promoters, or anyone with a project who wants to make it known to new audiences in creative, playful and innovative ways. Aimed at bringing a different approach to every proposal, the idea of a creative boutique is born from the initiative of two artists who had the concern of taking art promotion into new scenes: Christopher Sanchez, a visual artist and graphic designer, and Nennette à lvarez, a photographer and videomaker.

They define Lakanu as a boutique that disseminates the work of artists and independent promoters through alternative media, which provide such the technological tools as the social networks, whose benefit is the mass promotion of the product, publicizing it in spaces where there is no competi-

tion in the corresponding market. The word Lakanu comes from a German idiom used by young people in that country to refer to the resolution of a problem in a non-conventional, creative way, and this is why it was the perfect word to define the boutique’s objective. When they spoke about the idea of opening a place to promote independent creative work, they right away thought of Lakanu as an all-encompassing concept, that therefore could not be assigned to a single category of art, but rather would complement different categories to obtain a striking and effective result. The services they offer are: video and photography production; graphic design, web and institutional image, as well as the logistics for social events such as fashion shows or art exhibitions. Their main purpose is to take advertising to new standards, with original ideas, and to encourage the consumption of cultural goods through the promotion of local art.
