We’re gone! Back to Thailand.

You’ve helped make our time in the United States special. We’ve felt your support and love as we’ve shared about what God is doing in and through us. But it hasn’t been a vacation. We’ve spoken in church services, small groups, family devotions, camps, Sunday schools and prayer meetings. We’ve met with over eighty couples, families or singles in one-on-one meetings. Maybe we overdid it a little. Some days we kicked things off with breakfast with a pastor followed by a mid-morning coffee with an elderly, single lady. After coffee we met a businessman for lunch and grabbed desert in the mall with an old friend. That evening we had a dinner meeting or a small group to go to. Between travel, family obligations and meetings we continued to practice our Thai language skills by calling our friends on the phone, listening to stories in Thai, reading and writing and meeting new Thai friends here in the states. As you can see, we’ve been busy. Thank-you for coming on this journey with us.

Take a closer look… on our website We update our website regularly. We don’t let two weeks go by without posting something there about what we’re learning, what God is doing in our lives or something crazy we experienced. Check it out:

At family camp this past weekend we were reminded of the fact that our time and resources are finite. We only have one life to spend. If we were each a kid in an arcade we’d only have one token. Which machine would you put your token in? 1 Thessalonians 4:1-3a says: “Finally then, brethren, we request and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us instruction as to how you ought to walk and please god (just as you actually do walk), that you excel still more. For you know what commandments we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God: your sanctification;” Do you ever wonder what the will of God is for your life? That’s simple. Sanctification. Sanctification is the process of looking and acting more and more like Jesus Christ. It’s the cleansing and growing process that transforms us from what we once were and it’s the process that shapes and molds us into the image of Christ. Keep up the great work. We’re proud of the team that’s behind us here in the states. As a team we’ll be able to accomplish so much more than Sharon and I could on our own. Our encouragement to ourselves and to you is this: excel still more. Keep pressing in and pressing on in the process of sanctification. We thank God for you every time we think of you. Yours truly, Ric and Sharon
