1. The Etruscans: Tarquinia Tarquinia is undoubtedly worth seeing for its Necropolis of Monterozzi, part of the UNESCO heritage and considered to be the most important necropolis in the Mediterranean. It counts over 6000 burials, 200 of which adorned with extremely valuable frescoes that are a true narrative of live and habits at the 7th-5th Centuries b.C. Do not miss the Museo Nazionale Etrusco housed in the Villeschi Palace, dating from the fifteenth century. The museum shows important sarcophagi, ancient ceramics found at the excavations, jewels and much more. Half-day

2. Capalbio & the Garden of Tarots The Garden of Tarots is a marvellous sculpture garden by Niki de Saint-Phalle (France,1930-2002). It was inspired by Gaudi’s Parco Gßell in Barcelona and the Garden of Monsters in Bomarzo, and includes 22 monumental concrete sculptures covered with mirrors, coloured glass and ceramics. These monumental neo-baroque sculptures lead the viewer through a spiritual journey of esoteric symbols and meanings relating to the enigmas of the Tarot. Half-day
