Durante la ristrutturazione de La Posta Vecchia, sono state scoperte antiche mura, pavimenti di mosaici colorati, pareti con marmi africani e greci, più anfore, vasi e grandi piatti, ora esposti in una teca illuminata. A tutto questo bisogna aggiungere il ristorante The Cesar (70 coperti), con l’alta cucina dello chef Michelino Gioia, 1 Michelin e due forchette Gambero Rosso, che trasforma i piatti della tradizione in creazioni moderne dal gusto speciale. Con la bella stagione, il servizio ristorante può
essere allestito sulla terrazza (110 coperti) con una splendida vista sul giardino. Per un’esperienza ancora più speciale potete affittare la villa in esclusiva (che in questo caso prevede anche l’uso della terrazza sul mare) e ospitare i vostri invitati nelle 19 camere che possono accogliere fino a 40 persone. The magical atmosphere of La Posta Vecchia is the perfect location for celebrating the most important day of your life. The 17th century villa is immersed in a 4-hectare park filled with palms, maritime pines, flowers, Mediterranean fragrances and tropical plants that are testimony to the former owners’ passion for travelling far and wide. The doors of the restaurant open onto a large terrace perched between the sea and the sky in a
position with exposure to sunlight until dusk. Inside the villa are exquisite wooden beams, elegant furniture, tapestries, paintings and statues. But what will really leave you lost for words is the museum located in the remains of a 2nd century BC Roman villa. While renovating La Posta Vecchia, we discovered ancient brickwork, colourful mosaic floors, walls of African and Greek marble and amphorae, vases and plates that are now on show in illuminated display cases. On top of all this is The Cesar restaurant (70 covers), which has been awarded 1 Michelin and two Gambero Rosso forks and serves fine food prepared by chef
Michelino Gioia, who transforms traditional dishes into unique and delicious modern creations. In warmer seasons the same restaurant service can be set up on the terrace (110 covers) with a splendid view over the garden. For an experience that is even more special you can rent the villa for private, exclusive use (which also includes use of the terrace overlooking the sea) and host your guests in the hotel’s 19 rooms, which can accommodate up to 40 people. Si dice che fosse la suite della compagna del Signor Getty. Ăˆ composta da una zona soggiorno corredata da un caminetto con struttura in legno chiaro dipinto a mano e da una libreria che custodisce una collezione di pregiati piatti Meissen. Il letto del XVII secolo di origine spagnola e la magnifica vasca di marmo rosa, alla quale convergono due rampe di scale laterali, esaltano il lusso che contraddistingue la Casa.
It is said that Mr. Getty’s companion resided in this suite. The sitting room includes a hand-decorated fireplace and a bookcase displaying a rare collection of Meissen plates. The Spanish 17th century King-size bed and pink marble tub embraced by two marble stairways highlight the outstanding luxury which is the hallmark of the Villa.

È la Master Suite più grande della Casa ed in passato era la camera di J.P. Getty quando risiedeva presso la Villa. È composta da una grande camera da letto fornita di un soffitto con fregi intarsiati in legno di quercia e mobili del XVI e XVII secolo. La sala da bagno è interamente rivestita da marmo bianco. Grandi finestre offrono un’incantevole vista che spazia dal mare al giardino all’italiana. Nella zona soggiorno si possono ammirare un imponente mobile del XVII secolo ed uno scrittoio sul quale si trova un computer portatile con connessione Wi-Fi ad uso gratuito.
Master Suite Getty is the largest suite in the Hotel and was J.P. Getty’s private wing when he resided in the Villa. It boasts 16th and 17th century furniture, an oak-wood ceiling, King-size bed, an over 200 sq. foot white marble bathroom and a wall of windows overlooking the sea. Through large windows you can see an incredible view on the italian garden and the sea. The sitting room has a 17th century floor-to-ceiling maplewood wardrobe and a writing desk with a complimentary laptop and Wi-Fi free access.

A OGNUNO IL SUO RITO WEDDING CEREMONIES Qualsiasi sia la vostra scelta a La Posta Vecchia potete realizzarla. Nel giardino della villa è possibile celebrare riti simbolici sotto un gazebo con vista mare (capienza 200 persone) simulando o duplicando il matrimonio che sognate o avete realizzato in un altro luogo. Nella bella stagione potete celebrare una cerimonia con rito simbolico all’aperto sotto il gazebo oppure, quando l’aria è frizzante o il tempo è incerto, in uno dei tre incantevoli saloni (Sala Camino, Studio Piranesi e Studio Getty) al piano terreno della villa. Il matrimonio religioso si può celebrare nella Basilica di San Michele della tenuta Odescalchi oppure nella chiesa dell’Immacolata Concezione di Ceri, a pochi chilometri da La Posta Vecchia. Se preferite il matrimonio laico, vi suggeriamo la sala Rossa del Campidoglio al Municipio di Roma (può ospitare fino a 70 persone in piedi) oppure nella Sala Comunale del Comune di Ladispoli (può ospitare fino a 40 persone in piedi).
Whatever you desire, La Posta Vecchia can make it happen. We can hold symbolic ceremonies in a gazebo overlooking the sea in our garden (capacity of 200 people), bringing the wedding of your dreams to life or honouring a wedding you have already had elsewhere. During the warmer months, you can celebrate your symbolic ceremony in the open air in a gazebo, or, at times when the air is crisp and the weather is uncertain, in one of our three enchanting halls (Sala Camino, Studio Piranesi and Studio Getty) on the ground floor of the villa. Religious ceremonies can be held at the Basilica di San Michele on the Odescalchi estate or in the Chiesa dell’Immacolata Concezione di Ceri just a few kilometres from La Posta Vecchia. If you would prefer a non-religious ceremony, we recommend the Red Room at the Campidoglio in Rome (which can accommodate up to 70 people standing) or the Municipal Hall in the Municipality of Ladispoli (which can accommodate up to 40 people standing).
