My City, My Place
This great digital book is part of a much bigger project that the Expression department at school has decided to undertake on our dearest City of Buenos Aires. In this book you will find a wonderful compilation of articles written by senior 4 students about the buildings where they live. In these articles you will find the buildings’ detailed descriptions, their outstanding histories and many interesting anecdotes. The articles have been illustrated with maps and enriching pictures. In order to carry out this project, students have worked with a variety of resources, such as digital cameras, celular phones and different websites and applications. Among the websites used, we can mention Google Drive, Google Maps, Blogspot and Issuu. In the production of this book all senior 4 students have worked collaboratively online, following strict instructions. Students have prepared their work under a pen name so the challenge for you as a reader is to recognise some of the writers by his or her style. In order to help you most writers have included a brief biography, although you should be aware of the fact that some information provided may not be true to reality. Besides, we do apologise for any information which may not be accurate, and we do hope you enjoy reading this compilation as much as we have enjoyed writing, editing and publishing it. Any comment which may help us improve on our work will be most welcomed.

My name is Joan Jett, I am 16 years old. I was born in Argentina, Buenos Aires. In my free time I usually play in the computer, listen to music, read any romantic book or thriller and I stay with my friends. My favorite food is hamburger with chips. 1. My Hideaway My house is my real hideaway. It is in the neighborhood of Balvanera. It is 8 blocks from San Cristobal school. It was built in 1982 and it is in Jujuy avenue. It was finished in around 1985. This apartment has got 9 floors, many stairs and emergency lights. It has got three doors per floor, too. Opposite the building there is a Registration Office and two blocks from it there is a square. The guard or janitor is called Nora, she has lived here for many years, she is fifty years old. She has got a son. He is married and lives in another place. I remember an anecdote, once the building was flooded because the pipes were blocked. All the persons of the building got scared and began to run along the floors, looking for help. After a day the pipes were fixed. In the map:

I’m Caroline Forbes. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina 17 years ago. I live with my parents and I love writing. It’s my passion. I started writing 5 years ago. 2. What? A Tree in the House? How happened? Hi everyone, I am going to describe you this special house: It is a big house. It is in Solís 1478. It was built in 1949. My family moved to the house 40 years ago. First, my father moved with his wife to the place and after that my brothers and sister were born. It doesn’t have a name but, here in the neighborhood, we call it: the big house. It is in the neighborhood of Constitución. It has a special thing: the wooden floor is ten cm. above the real floor. It was something special. Once, we appeared in the newspaper! Yes, it is true. Because after a big storm, one tree was thrown on the house by the strong winds of that day. There weren’t harmed people but after that my father remodelled the house.

*** Hello! I’m Justin Case, and I’m right about to tell you a little bit of my life, “just in case” you didn’t know me yet. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and I’m 16 years old. My passion is running, I just love it! I consider myself as a extroverted, happy and kinda crazy person.

3. Have you ever Wondered how Someone Else’s House is?... I have the, we could say, “honor” of living in the neighborhood of San Cristóbal. My home is on Sarandí and San Juan street, and it’s a block of flats. Of course, and I don’t have to say it, I live in Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina. Sadly, the house I live in doesn’t have any name, but I like to call it “Home”. My Home, again it’s a block of flats, and it’s four stories tall, and on the top of it there’s a big terrace for a janitor we don’t have, so it’s useless. My building was built approximately in 1940, probably by an architect whose name I don’t know.
Funny things have happened in this building, but I know more about my own apartment, like the time my old pet ran into the bath and got completely wet or every time one of us in my family have broken and keep breaking dishes. Here’s a map of the zone my house is in:

Hi! My name is Shirley Manson. I was born on May 22, 1998, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I love animals, reading, and one of the biggest dreams I have is to travel around the world, even to the farthest away places, because I believe that every part of the land has something to be discovered yet. 4.Blood On The Stairs My home is located on the second floor of a building in the neighborhood of Balvanera, I've been living there since I was born, but the construction started a long time ago in 1948 and finished in 1952. Because at the time it was not common to make tall buildings, mine only has a ground floor, three floors and one terrace. Thanks to the big windows at the end of the halls the place is very bright during the day and at night. The walls were painted originally in pink, but with the passing of time it had to be remodelled so that's why they're white now. The building has never counted with a janitor or a guard, but three times a week comes a woman who is in charge of the maintenance and cleaning. The neighbors say the building is haunted because two people died here, and they didn't do so of natural reasons. The first was a 56-year old woman, she was going down the stairs when she fell, she broke her neck and sadly she died at the hospital. The second was a young man, who killed himself. The worst part was that I was in my house that day, I can still remember it, it was horrible.

Hello! My name is Amelia, I am 16 years old. I live in Argentina, Buenos Aires and my passion is reading and writing stories. Currently I have a typewriter, where I put all the feelings and short stories that brighten my family. I have few friends, but they are the best in the world. 5. The Natural Neighbourhood of the Equalities
The building has got 15 floors and it is in Lugano 1 and 2. I have lived there since I was born. Lugano is characteristic for these buildings. All buildings are connected with a bridge and everyone has a number, for example, my building has got the number 30. If you love nature you will fall in love with this place, because this neighbourhood has got a lot of parks. I live on the tenth floor and each floor has got four appartaments: A, B, C and D. My house is in appartament A. I like living there, because all my windows have got a view to the sunset. If I were you I would like the windows too. Lugano was founded in 1908, but my building was constructed in 1936. Since my building was built it has always served as home to thousands of families. I don’t known the name of the constructor of my house but I know that the founder was JosÊ F. Soldati. Now, I am going to show you a map of my house:

I am Ashley Smith. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’m from San Cristobal. I’m fifteen years old and my birthday is on July 11th. I live with my mother, my grandmother, my cat and my dog. My hobbies are playing volleyball and cycling. I like going to the cinema and shopping with my friends. 6. A Big Fire on the Building My place is a building, it has fourteen floors, two elevators and one very big terrace. In this, each floor has three apartments. This was built over 60 years ago. It is in Saavedra 1194, two blocks from my school. The building has a janitor who is in charge of the cleaning with his wife every day. This building has one important anecdote: One day, part of my building caught fire and we called the firefighters, because a neighbor had left a candle burning and fell asleep. The candle burned clothes and so the fire started. Also, in the building the light is frequently cut and this causes many problems. Here is my building on the maps:

*** Hi, my name is Samantha Storch. I have sixteen years old and my birthday is on 25th April. I live with my mother and my three brothers. I have two dogs, their names are Rufus and Kala. I like listening to music. My favorite music is National Rock. I am a fun and relaxed person. 7. I Tell You What Happened in My House? My house is in the neighborhood called San Cristóbal, Buenos Aires. My house is called "Enfe" because these are the initials of my parents. My place is a building with a lot of flats. It was built in 1703. It is one of the oldest buildings. 4th COM ISC

My building was built by Francisco Henzi Ledesma. There are a lot of janitors in the building, because it is very big. I remember one day the lift fell down. A fireman came in and there were two injured men and everything was a chaos. In my house there are two dogs that are in the habit of destroying everything, but it is a beautiful and sweet home. It is in Argentina, San Cristobal, Avenue San Juan. It was built by the engineer Osvaldo Mosquera in 1960. The rest of the building was completed by Fernando Salceda in 1961. The building hasn’t got a name. It is the oldest of the neighbourhood, it’s high and it has ten floors. Around eight families live in the building distributed in it. The building is guarded by a janitor called Victor Coria. He is forty- seven years old. A sunny morning a dog called Bobby was lost in the building. After a searching it was found by the janitor.Bobby was searched for all the floors by the janitor Victor Coria. The building is located in a neighbourhood with a great history, because it was inhabited by prominent figures who had great talents like for example, singers. Around the building there are shops, a store of snack food like for example McDonald’s, and an important supermarket as Carrefour and a great variety of clothes’ shops. Location of the Building

*** Hi, my name is Rachel Coleman. I’m 16 years old. I was born in Argentina. I live with my family, my parents, my sister and my dog, Manchita. She is 9 years old but she looks young. I love playing volleyball, traveling, planes, and all that stuff. 9. The Madhouse It’s located in Humberto Primo and Dean Funes, in San Cristóbal neighborhood. It was built in around 1991, but the name of the builder is a mystery, and there are a lot of legends about it. It doesn’t have a name, but it’s recognized by the people because it’s one of the biggest buildings in the neighborhood, it has 15 flats and about 225 apartments. 4th COM ISC

This building is watched everyday by a janitor, in fact, there are many janitors, and they have shifts. Almost every month something weird happens, including a lot of fires, sometimes people die or get sick for no reason. But earlier this year, a man burned down his apartment to kill his wife because he was crazy, he always hit her, but she escaped and he jumped out of the window, from the first floor almost killing himself. Some people say there was blood and guts on the floor in the street that night, but others say that he is alive and looking for revenge. I don’t think you want to know where it is, but I’ll give you a map and a photo below.

10. History of my Life … My house is in the neighbourhood of Constitución. Specifically in Santiago del Estero street and Cochabamba Street. This house has not got a name because my family and me consider that the house does not need a name. However, I refer to it as “my house” or when I am at home I say “Home Sweet Home”. My house was built aproximately in 1980 by Mario Gonzalez. First, I lived in a house but I did not stay there because the house was very big for my family. Then they bought a flat but we did not stay there because my father hated it.

Finally we moved to our current house, and we have stayed there for aproximately 30 years. I do not remember any anecdote because my life there is very quiet.

*** Hello, my name is Robert Stevenson, I was born in Argentina on March 21, 1998. I live with my mother, my brothers and my dog. I like playing computer games and I like many sports, especially football. 11. You Want to Know About My House? My house is on the federal capital district in San Cristobal in Pichincha street 1460. it is quiet. I have lived in San Cristobal since I was born. This house is very big. My parents bought it when I was 2 years old but I do not know who constructed it as it is over 80 years of age.but the house was rebuilt. My house is painted in many colors. My brother's room is white and red, my mother's room is orange, and my sister's room is pink and blue. I remember in the basement there was a blue old car but my father sold the car to a friend.I have no memory of.

My mother and I have painted the rooms every year. I like red and blue for my room because I like San Lorenzo. We think that we are going to rebuild the bathroom and the kitchen soon. It would be a good idea!

*** Hello, my name is Kristen Benson. I’m 16 years old, I was born on January 27, 1998. I am from Argentina. I live with my mom, my dad, my two brothers, and my dog, who is called Theo. I like traveling, going to the cinema, hanging out with friends. 12. Death on the 4th Floor My home is in Argentina, in San Cristóbal, more specifically in Avenida San Juan and Solis and it’s almost 10 blocks from my school. It is a building that has 9 floors. The building was constructed in 1980 by Gonzalo Ruiz, and has no name. The building is small but very comfortable, and very low . My building has a janitor, called Jose Lopez and he is 50 years old. He lives with his family and his dog, who, by the way is very annoying and loud, on the 9th floor. The apartments are very nice. About 18 families live here. I remember an old woman who lived on the fourth floor and she had a terminal disease. His family came to visit her often. They were very affectionate with us. After a year, on June 23, the elderly woman named Carmen, 78 years old, died in her apartment. This is the address where my house is.

*** Hi! I’m Jessica Hyde. I was born on October, 20th in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I live with my parents and my two brothers. In my free time I like going to the gym because I love sports. I have gone to dance classes since 2010 and I think that I will never stop doing this. 13. Could You Imagine a House Which can Spy all Your Moves? This is possible. I have lived there since I was born! This house was built in 1887. My grandfather, with a lot of dedication and work, bought it for all of my family. I have a lot of good memories about him and we are thankful for all his effort. It is in the neighbourhood called Parque Patricios, which is known by a football stadium, Huracan’s. My family decided to called my house "templo" because it is our place of comfort and privacy only for my family. A few years ago, my parents remodeled it to create the special house in which I live at present. The secret of this house is that it has a big camera at the door which can spy all the neighbourhood. You can see a lot of interesting acts that happen at different hours of the day. But one day, from this camera, I saw a robbery. I was very frightened and immediately called the police! I love my house but specially because it is the place in which I can do what I want to. Here look at my house and its location:

Hi I'm Noah Smith and I am a tourist guide and I wil tell you about one of my "sights" list: one of the houses of Theodoro Pears. I love this house for it shows that anyone with determination can be a great and famous dancer and singer.
14. The Sixth House I am a tourist guide, and I´m showing the sixth house of the famous Singer/Dancer Theodoro Pears. This is an old house. It was the sixth house Theo lived in. We don't know any information of its construction. He lived in it for 11 years, from 5 years old to 16 years old. This house is a ground floor flat, and he has got a long terrace to play. Sometimes the terrace got full of water, and he and his father cleaned it and it was all ready to play again. He has marked how tall he was on a wall in the house. In the year 2014, he moved to a new house (an apartment) in Palermo. He had to travel for half an hour to go to school, and he woke up very early. He has loved all his houses. All his houses were very small and cute but there have been very many relatives. And this is the view from above:

15. The Center Of My World My house is in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Its a building which was build in 1889 by an anonymous man who didn't say his name or put it to the building. This building is at Mompox 1734. It’s in Constitution neighborhood. My parents decided to move here when my mom was 25 and my dad was 33. In the building 3 families and 1 lonely man who come from cordoba are living. The most famous story of the building was the suicide of one man who didn't have money, so when he was going to the streets, he decided to kill himself. This is a picture of my house
*** Hi! My name is Emma Hudson.I was born on December, 3rd in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I live in Capital Federal with my parents. This is my 5th house in all my life. On my free time I like staying at home or hanging out with friends. 16. The Most Interesting House in the World The building where I live was built more or less 40 years ago, in 1974. My place is in San Juan Avenue 2107 in San Cristobal. I live in an apartment on the 14th floor. It was built by a Jewish construction company but I don’t remember their name. It is the 5th house where I have lived. There are 59 flats. In my home there is a janitor. Her name is Idalia Montiel and she is 36 years old. She hasn’t got a pet. She lives in this building on the 15th floor. She’s pregnant and my mother is the baby’s godmother.

The building is earthquake proof and strong winds move it. When it moves I am very scared because I have panic attacks due to strong winds. Another anecdote: we had power and gas for 15 days. In the building there are so many singers and my neighbor is one of them. He is so beautiful.
*** Hello, my name is Allison Gray, I am 16 years old. I was born in Argentina on March 20, 1998. I live in Buenos Aires, capital. I live with my mom my sister and my aunt. I like many sports, especially swimming.
17. The climbing man
My house is located in Combate de los pozos street between Belgrano Avenue and Moreno Street. It was built in 1974 by Santiago Fernández. It has about 10 apartments and it’s not very high. There isn’t a guard but there is a janitor. Her name is María. She is 39 years old, and she has got one child, Eugenia who is 10 years old. Opposite my house there is a supermarket. The building wall is white. In my garden there are a hammock and a slide. With my sister we go there all the time. Lately things got weird, but almost two months ago, a man climbed up the wall of the building to reach the third floor, because he had fought with his wife and she had taken away his keys. Neighbors say this man is sick. They called the police who came quickly, but in two days he was released, and so far nothing is known of him.

*** Hello, my name is Richard Stud. I am sixteen years old and my birthday is in April. I have two older brothers and I live with my mom. I am a very happy guy and I make a lot people laugh with my sense of humor and I love to sing in the shower especially.
18. Commercial House The building has no name and was built between in the 20th century. It's a very large building and it is located in Jujuy Avenue at 1500 between Garay Avenue and Avenue Pavon. It is located in the commercial area of Jujuy Avenue and there are four libraries and it is opposite a hardware store called Distribufer and also has a trash bin call Bariloche. The building has 12 floors and two apartments on each floor. I know all the people in the building. I have good neighbors and their names are John and Susan. Before I had some neighbors who were not as good. This building was 9 years old when I met my current best friend Ignacio living on the fourth floor of this huge block of flats. We met with our mothers who were nannies and took care of us.
*** Hi, My name is Joe Cole. I’m 15 years old and I live in Argentina. I love playing football, listening to music and watching tv series. 19. My House, my Story My house is located in the neighborhood of San Cristobal, in San Juan avenue 2645. The building is a GFF (A gff is a building built horizontally with not many floors, only one or two). Around 10 families live in there, each one in their house. It is separated by a big corridor with the doors of the houses. It’s near my school. It was built in the 1950’s but my parents decided to buy it in 1990, eight years before my birth. In there, the television actor the “Flaco Garcia” (He acted with Alberto Olmedo in some films) lived for some years.

It doesn’t have a janitor or a garden but It has a terrace where my neighbors have flowers. Every year my neighbour and I paint the walls in white and the front door has been remodelled. This year, I will help painting the GFF.
*** Hi, my name is Gareth Bale. I’m 16 years old and I live in Argentina. I love watching movies and listening to music every day. 20. My Home.
I live with my family in a flat, in San Cristóbal. The building where I live is known as “Las Torres de Humberto”, but I don’t know its real name. The building has around 600 flats, it’s very bi!, and a lot of families live here. It was built in 1997, the same year when I was born, so I have lived all my life here. And it was built by Almagro Company. The building has 14 floors and a lot of flats, so there are many janitors and guards. The janitors are in the building from the morning to the evening-night. Then, they leave the building and the guards come and stay all night in it. Once, at night there was a fire on the third floor because of a violent couple’s argument, and we had to get out of the building because we live on the first floor and it was too dangerous. And two months ago, a woman was murdered by her own mother and her own brother on the second floor! I couldn’t sleep then, because I could hear the noises on my ceiling. I was so scared.

*** My name is Rocio Gomez. I am 16 years old. I was born on November 11th, 1997. I live with my mom, her boyfriend and my sister. I have a dog, a cat and a hamster. When I was little I went dancing and swimming until I was 12. Now I am attending fourth year at high school in San Cristobal and I play volleyball.
21. Coat my Feelings My building is Brasil Avenue 2479. It doesn't have a name. It is big and tall. It has ten stories. It is a block of flats and it has one small terrace. It has three apartments per story, some apartments have a balcony. The building is in Capital Federal, in the neighborhood of Parque Patricios. My neighbors are friendly and sweet. Buy some are bad, annoying and noisy. The day I turned 14 years old I held a party at home. School friends came and we had fun. By the time I was going to cut the cake my mother pushed my head into the cake, and cream fell on the floor. When we went to clean up the mess, we took a lot of water and then it began to slide down the floors.
*** Hi! My name is Kate. I live in Boedo. My birthday is on July 26th and I am sixteen years old. I was born in 1997 in Corrientes, Argentina. I study at Institute San Cristobal, in 4th year. I live with two sisters and my parents. My sisters’ names are Antonella and Bianca, and my parents’ names are Rosana and Juan.

22. Warm Home I live in Capital Federal, in a neighbourhood called Boedo. The address of my house is 1229 Quintino Bocayuva Street. It does not have a name. I live in apartment number four, but it isn't a flat, it is a PH. The Ph has six apartments. I don't know the year exactly of construction. I have lived in the apartment for thirteen years and before other people lived there. There isn't a guardian in my apartment My house is big. It has two bedrooms, one kitchen, one bathroom and a terrace. I have twelve neighbors. My neighbors are called Julia, Sebastian, Pablo, Rosana, Juan, Antonella, Bianca, Ignacio, Maia, Micol among others. I have one friend. My friend is called Micol. She lives in apartment number one. The city where I live is very big. In Buenos Aires we can find museums, cinemas and theaters. Its commercial activity is intense and have many local brands and commercial shopping. My country called Argentina and has a beautiful scenery.
*** Hello, my name is Isabella Jones. I turn 18 years old on October 26. I enjoy spending time with my friends and being surrounded by good music! In my free time I read, and I like to play volleyball. On Friday or Saturday, I usually watch movies. And on Sundays I spend time with my family! 23. My House, my Warm Home My home is located in Cochabamba and Pichincha in San Cristobal. It was built 60 years ago and we moved here when I was 1 year old. I currently live with my mom, her husband, my brother, my uncle, my grandmother and my two dogs, Sam and Umma. It is a large house with two floors and a large terrace. The location of my house is comfortable, because it is 5 blocks from my school. From my balcony you can see a square, and the motorway on it. But do not hear the noise of cars ever! I do not consider it a fun house or with lots to tell! But once I invited over 50 people to a barbecue party! It was fun! Anyway, the neighbors hated us for a long time due to the shouts, music and late night. Unable to repeat! 4th COM ISC

24. The Neighbors My house is in Argentina, in Pavon and Esteban de Luca Street. It was built in 1883. My parents moved to this house in 1993, but before they lived for many years with my grandparents. A few years ago some neighbors moved. They were very quiet at first, but after awhile we began to hear strange noises. At first we gave no importance to these noises but then we got frightened. After a while these noises were not heard any more.We talked with other neighbors to see if they knew anything, but they just responded that the house was always empty. We did not believe it because we had long believed that there were neighbors ...
*** Hello my name is Abi Lorens. I am 15 years old and I was born in Boedo. I live with my mom, brother who is 9 years old and my stepfather. I met him at the age of 3. I'm a pretty sympathetic person, but sometimes I get angry about things that do not have any sense.
25. The Characteristics of my House
My home is in Moreno 1948 Balvanera neighborhood. I have lived in it since I was born. I moved only for 3 years to Parque Patricios due to economic issues but I came back to this place. It's pretty small, but it is nice and comfortable. In this building there are many great people. But some people have moved and others with the time they have died. Its floor is wooden, the walls are white and the workpiece are salmon. The balcony has a roof and when it rains the rain noise is heard. It is a 9-storey building with a large terrace. I'm on the 8th floor and it has an attractive view. In future there will be more buildings around. This year, my family has the intention of being able to buy a much bigger house and so of being more comfortable. Google maps photo:

*** Hello my name is Lucy Harding. I am sixteen years old and my birthday is on September 10. I live in Argentina. In my free time I enjoy being with my family and going out with friends 26. A great Family Home Hello tourists! I will guide you through my house.This is in the neighbourhood of San Cristobal and it was built more than 100 years ago. This home has a patio and corridor, ten bedrooms where families live. In my house there are two bedrooms, one small bathroom, one big living room, one kitchen and a big terrace. It was remodelled once. The entrance of my house is painted in sky-blue. My bedroom and my sister’s is painted in pink and violet and my parents’ bedroom is green. This year a policeman has stood in front of my house for three months. Once the next house burned down and we got really scared. It is surrounded by a lot of buildings

27. House of Dreams My house is in Constitución Street 2346 between Matheu St. and Pichincha St. It doesn’t have a name. The house doesn’t have a terrace because it is very big. It has got a kitchen, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room. Opposite my house there is a supermarket. The house was built in 1982. My favourite place in the house is my bedroom because my bed is very comfortable. I play with the playstation and the computer and I watch TV there. I have two pets. They are cats. At night, my cats play around the house. Sometimes it's annoying because they do not let you sleep, that's why I do not let them enter my room. I have had them for six and five years. Next to my house there is a sport club. Every day the people fight in the street.

I like playing computer games, watching movies and reading books. I live with my parents and my brother. 28. Home Sweet Home My house is an apparment in Virrey Liniers Street 2130. I live in the last apparment on the 6th floor. The avenue is Chiclana, a very long one. In the corner is the street Bathurst. A few blocks from my house is the Parque Patricios park. My family and I moved here a long time ago. The house has stairs to the terrace. There is one bathroom, one living room, a kitchen, and three bedrooms. Is it located in the neighbourhood of Parque Patricios, close to Boedo. It is a ground floor flat. We had to rebuild a wall in the living room. The front door was broken twice. Once by a dog who was running and hit the door, and another time in a moving. It doesn’t have a name or a guard. The arquitect who built it currently lives in the first apparment.

29. My Big House My grandfather built my house. The history of my house is long for it is twenty years old and it was remodeled twice. The neighborhood is ValentĂn Alsina in west Lanus. My house is very big and has two kitchens, two bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. The walls of my room are red and they have a poster of my club, Racing. What I like about my room is the bed. I like to sleep when I get home from school. It is very comfortable. In front of my house there is a supermarket and a few blocks away there is a park. What I like most about my home is when I'm alone, because I feel harmony.

Hi! My name is Sergio Aguero, I was born on 2nd June in Quilmes. I live in Balvanera, Buenos Aires. I love playing soccer. My dream is to be a professional soccer player or a chef. 30. My Home, My Home I live in Jujuy Avenue 495 (it’s a building). This building is in the neighborhood of Balvanera, Buenos Aires. It has 3 floors and a ground floor, with 4 apartments in each one. This building has an elevator which breaks a lot, 60 stairs, a parking lot and a terrace. It was built in 1999 by a construction company. Eight blocks from it there is a school. Two blocks from here you have a square with a soccer field and a volleyball field. Opposite you have the registration office for persons who come from outside the country. A curious fact: while they were building it, it was squatted by foreigners for a year and a half.

Usually I go out with my boyfriend, I do fencing, I'm a scout, I love riding my bike, I'm neat, but not in my head for I am very forgetful, clumsy but friendly. I like to draw, sing, act and dance more than anything. 31. There's No Place Like Home This appartment is in San Cristobal. Arround it there are a supermarket, a hospital and a school. The house is so big, the rooms have two floors except one. In the kitchen there are stairs to the bathroom and the cleaning room. Each room has a balcony and the livingroom has three. Two years ago a women called Andrea sold the house to my family, one month later she disappeared and never have we seen her again. She has debts, someone always calls her but nobody knows anything about her. She disappeared.
*** My name is Megan and I really like cats, I think they are the quietest in the world or at least my pet cat pet. I have long black hair. I'm a little bit fat. I hate biology classes. I listen to all kinds of music but I do not like slow music because it makes me sleepy. 32. The Voyages of Loving Cats I live in a building that will be demolished because the owner passed away and successors do not want to be held accountable. My building is in Boedo. It has three floors and I live on the first. The door of my house in black with a window in the middle. My house was partly burned in a fire last year. That day my family and I got really frightened.

*** When I was three years old my parents decided to change the apartment. When my sister Valentina was born, my parents decided to change the appartment for a bigger one.
33. My Home, Sweet Home.
My house has three rooms, one living-room, a bathroom, a kitchen, and two courts. The floor is made of brown wood. The windows were painted by my dad in brown and light brown. The rooms are very big. The first room was painted by my parents in 2010, because it needed some painting. The second room is very complicated to describe because my mother has changed the furniture. In the living room I have a tv, a computer, a sofa and a table and chairs. It has a wooden floor and the wall is painted violet I wanted to count an anecdote: On July 9th, 2007 with my parents, we were changing the apartment and it started snowing. It was very beautiful

The Roman House was built around 1920, it’s a flat. The Roman House is located in Balvanera in Buenos Aires. The janitor is Sergio Osmar Bravo, who is my father. He started to work there 22 years agoo, now he is 52 years old. My parents moved here in 1992, and we don’t think in moving because we like this place. The block of flats has 3 floors, with approximately 35 appartments. Every morning my father wakes up at 5 o’clock and starts to rake. Last year my neighbours burnt a tree in the street, accidentally and the pólice came and interrogated my father. It was at Christmas. ***
