Fall 2016

Save your pennies to help others Growing up, you probably learned that sharing feels good. Sharing your stuff is one way you give. Now that you’re older, you can give in other ways too. The holidays are a good time to think about those who have less than you do and who can maybe use a little help. How can you make a difference? There are lots of ways. If you get a weekly allowance, setting aside some of that money every week in your Looney Tunes™ Savings Club Account can be a good place to start. Think about it — if you saved just $2 a week, by the end of a year, you’d have more than $100 to donate to a charity. You can save less or more depending on how much you have. Saving even a few pennies a week can add up over time. If you don’t have money to give, don’t worry! There are other ways you can help people in need. You can:

Give away clothes you’ve outgrown. Organize a food or toy drive at your school. articipate in a run or walk to raise money P for a good cause. There are so many ways to give. Saving your pennies is one way. Giving your time and energy to help someone in need is another way. Can you think of more?

Help your neighbors with yardwork or chores.

Did you win?
