Mentoring Phase During these 3 months, 3 group meetings for the mentoring phase were realized. These meetings were titled, “Who am I, what is my identity,'' “My strengths and weaknesses'' and “I understand you.'' There was a 93% participation rate, and 96% of the mentess said the meetings were important, 90% of topics helped mentees to discover themselves, and as a result of the meetings, 60% of them had changes in their behavior.

Lead me and I will follow you Each mentor- mentee pair organized one meeting during these 3 months, which was the start of mentor–mentee work. Mentor Armine Hovhannisyan with the support of her 2 mentees, Margarita and Veronica, prepared and made a presentation on “Cartoons.” They presented the cartoons positive and negative effect on children. The participants then tasted the delicious cookie-cake they made together.

Individual meetings 2015-2016 Mentoring Phase has already started and 12 meetings were realized during these 3 months. This year we have 10 mentor-mentee pairs. The meetings were diverse; educational, entertaining, volunteering, presentation preparation, as well as the preparation of a delicious cake. The best mentor – mentee pairs of these 3 months were Christine- Julieta and Liana- Violeta. Skill building Phase During these 3 months, 7 group meetings were realized for Skill building mentees. The meetings were titled “Communication Skills,'' “Team Work,'' “Time Management,'' “Leadership,” “Computer and Internet skills,” “How to research websites'' and “Reaserch paper skills''. Facultative Phase mentee Naira Hamazaspyan helped facilitate the “Time Management'' meeting. There was an overall rate of 79% attendance, 97% estimated they gained new knowledge, and the presenation’s effectiveness was rate at 99%.

Facultative Phase These past 3 months, 3 meetings were conducted for the Facultative phase. The meeting topics were “Personal Responsibility,” and two were “Microsoft Word.” There was a 78% participation rate, with 95% saying the meetings were useful, 44.4% said they gained new knowledge and 78% said they would use this knowledge in the future.

Mentoring training The trainings are on-going for our mentors. Mentor Lena Ghazaryan and Peace Corps volunteer Victoria Dokken realized 1 training on “Gender'' during these 3 months.

Overall group meetings We realized 4 overall group meetings during these three months. The meetings were entitled, “Three Colors,” “Halloween,” Gender Stereotypes” and “My Rights and Responsibilities.” This last meeting was facilitated by Women Rights’ Center NGO lawyer, Anahit Mkrtchyan and psychologist Christine Baghdasaryan. We had about 85% participation, with participants 100% interested in the topics, 83% gaining new knowledge of the topics, and 60% changing their perspectives on the matter. Nor Luyce NGO volunteered with the “Luys i Luso'' project

“Books are the best friends of human beings. You can turn to them whenever you face a difficult situation in your life. They will never betray you.” A. Dode On Ocober 24th, the mentors and mentees of Nor Luyce NGO sorted the books in the Italian Consulate, helping them to prepare the space for the “Luysi Luso’’ project.

Nor Luyce at the Bread Festival Nor Luyce mentees took part in the Bread Festival dedicated to Gyumri. The mayor of Gyumri and marzpet (governor) paid attention to our mentee's decorated table and expressed their admiration. The special dish of the table was Gyumrva Gata, a traditional Armenian dessert from Gyumri, prepared by our mentee, Lusine Hamazaspyan.

One-week empowerment training at Nor Luyce On September 15-21, 2015 a one-week training course was realized in Nor Luyce. The training was conducted by a leading specialist in the public sector, a business manager from the USA, Melvin Cowan. Due to the one-week training course the staff at Nor Luyce gained new knowledge and skills, which will help the effectiveness of activities and programs at Nor Luyce and continue to contribute to quality changes within the organization.

Focus group meeting in Nor Luyce

A focus group meeting was organized in Nor Luyce with the aim to improve the productivity of the organization. 14 mentees took part in the meeting. During the focus group meeting the mentees talked about all their achievements and successes as a result of taking part in Nor Luyce program. The mentees suggested to add more volunteer work and tasks for the mentees to do and continue the language classes.

Nor Luyce NGO implemets its mission Nor Luyce Mentoring center, being faithful to its mission, encourages mentees to get an education, a profession and develop independent persons. Nor Luyce NGO, cooperating with Paros foundation paid the tuition fees of 4 mentees during these 3 months, providing them the opportunity to continue their education. These mentees were Anna Unusyan, Arevik Qocharyan, Mariam Israelyan and Lusine Drmoyan. The organization provided stationery and clothing to 4 mentees: Lusine Qocharyan, Arevik Qocharyan, Naira Hamazaspyan and Ruzanna Hakobyan. In addition to all this, each month 2 mentees get money to attend university.

Armenian Language classes at Nor Luyce Armenian language classes have been ongoing at Nor Luyce. During these 3 months, 36 classes took place, facilitated by Armenian language and literature teacher, Tamara Mkrtchyan. Flora Mkrtchyan, a skill building phase mentee, took part in these classes with the aim of preparing her for an admission exam for a university.

Nor Luyce participated in the “30 Day Challenge” project

On October 19th, "Nor Luyce" NGO participated in the 30 Day Challenge project, organized by Impact Hub Yerevan. On November 22nd Nor Luyce received a certificate as the NGO with the most progress toward their goal in 30 days.
