Schools Cup Introduced in 2013, the Netball NSW Schools Cup is an initiative to provide NSW Primary and Secondary students with the opportunity to enjoy netball in a fun and safe environment. The competition is available to both female and male students from Catholic, Independent and Public systems, and is contested in three age-groups across 10 divisions. Since its inaugural season, Schools Cup has seen massive growth in its popularity with more than 9,000 students participating in 2016.

Divisions cater for boys and girls in Year 5 – Year 10 in both competitive and non-competitive draws. HOW IT WORKS School teams compete in a round robin carnival in their local area called Local Days, with overall winners from each progressing to a Regional Final. Regional Final winners will advance to the Netball NSW Schools Cup State Final, which is held at the home of Netball NSW, Genea Netball Centre, in Sydney Olympic Park.

Schools Cup is an inclusive draw meaning students will have the opportunity to play numerous netball games in a day. There are no knock-outs, just as much netball as possible!
