This amazing collection of seventy-five historical photographs is a great tribute to the long history of the East Hampton’s journal of record and includes photographs hidden in the Star’s archives since they were taken. This exhibition is a photographic portrait of the historic community of East Hampton that celebrates its vibrant growth over the past 125 years. Join the East Hampton Historical Society at Clinton Academy to rediscover unique pieces of East Hampton history from the hidden treasures taken from the archives of the Star. From chairs, stands, a tall chest, a tall case clock, to a cradle, it is fascinating to see rooms decorated with local furniture and heirlooms. This season the visitor has the opportunity to see how a prominent Main Street family might have lived in about 1800.
