They source about fifty percent of the grapes from special sites and people on the North Fork. EAST HAMPTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY, Osborn-Jackson House 101 Main Street, East Hampton, NY 11937 631.324.6850 Tuesday – Saturday 10am – 4pm The Osborn-Jackson House, named for its first and last owners, was lived in by six generations of Osborns until the late 1960's. The original portion of the house, probably built in 1723, was the family home of "Deacon" Daniel Osborn. His son Jonathan inherited the house and made additions in 1760. The house was owned successively by his sons Joseph and Sylvanus, his grandson Edward E. Gardiner, and their descendants until the mid-20th century. This colonial house, one of the few still in its original position on Main Street, is owned and maintained by the Village of East Hampton. Lionel Jackson donated the property to the Village of East Hampton in 1977 for use as a museum. It serves as the headquarters for the East Hampton Historical Society and a period house museum for the general public. The museum features a display of furnishings typical of the well-to-do lifestyle of a post-colonial East End family. Highlights of the exhibition include a tall clock, a high chest, candle stands and chairs built in the East Hampton workshop of the Dominy family of craftsmen between 1780 and 1840. SOUTHAMPTON HISTORICAL MUSEUM, 17 Meeting House Lane, Southampton 631.283.2494 Tuesday – Saturday 11am – 4pm The Southampton Colonial Society (now doing business as the Southampton Historical Museum) was organized in 1898 and incorporated in 1910. In its early days, the Society collected and exhibited historical objects and documents relating to the history and development of Southampton, organized pageants, and gave lectures on antiques. By the 1990s the Rogers Mansion property had expanded to include 12 historic structures including a one-room schoolhouse, a colonial era barn, and a 19th century paint shore, among others. The museum is open year-round with changing exhibits on historic topics, a research center, and extensive education programs for schoolchildren and adults.

DODD’S & EDER HOME, 11 Bridge Street, Sag Harbor, NY 917.239.0493 Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit Daily 5pm – 8pm Dodds & Eder HOME’s rare and welcoming outdoor sculpture garden opens with an embarrassment of riches. Sculptors Bill Barrett, Michael Chiarello, John Cino, Gregory de la Haba, David Elze, Dennis Leri and Paul Pavia have each mastered their artistry casting a contemporary excellence in aluminum, marble and steel. Do not tread lightly the subject or message portrayed by each artist. A sculptor exercises one’s work through mind, body and spirit. To merely glance at a sculpture prevents an honest relationship. One must guide their own mind, body and spirit into motion to understand the depth of artistic expression. Unique to Sag Harbor, is the landscaped setting of the sculpture garden and equally the display of inspirational sculpture. “My sculpture reflects the intense relationship between myself and the material and is a statement of my identity. The expressive properties of steel and the techniques required in creating metal sculpture intrigue me. Like Calder and Lassaw I believe that the work has an inner life, space with space and spaces between the shapes.” Dennis Leri.

Over 50 musicians and bands that are in the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame have played the Talkhouse. Prices range from $25 to $150 depending on the act, but patrons pay it in order to see their favorite acts in a room not much bigger than your living room. There are local bands playing reggae, rock or soul most nights after 10PM for a $10 cover on weekday or $30 on weekends. Talkhouse Tips: Buy a season pass to save on the costs on weekends and get there by 10PM on summer weekends if you want to avoid waiting in line. Part of the Talkhouse's magic is the staff. Over 20 people of this tight-knit family have worked at the club for over 15 years. There's also a sign in the front room that states: Customers come and go. Here at the Talkhouse the employee is always right. And finally, the layout is special. It is actually three bars in one. A front room features live music and dancing. The enclosed patio deck offers a reprieve from the music and is partially air. The Tiki Bar on the side is mostly under the stars and welcoming for the smokers. You never what to expect when you go into the Talkhouse, but it's always a great time.
