ENTHRALLMENT

Bulgarian death metallers Enthrallment have released their newest album, The Voice of Human Perversity, out on Rebirth the Metal Productions. It contains aggressive, tightly played and compact death metal. Their sound pays homage to the old school of death metal, which is more reminiscent to the early 90's side of things, being simple and heavy but not particularly calculated or structured specifically. The songs are straightforward, not too complex, without much experimenting faces, but are performed with full skilled energy. The drum patterns on this record are for sure the most complex in the pack, and the vocals are nicely low and guttural. You’ll notice the bass too, which has metallic sound to it. Overall, all songs are good, but sometimes they lack that extra kick, that intangible that could have made Enthrallment record above the average. Taken on its own terms, however, The Voice of Human Perversity is a decent death metal album that is worthy to be heard.
