ALPHA BANK SRBIJA A.D., now managing its affairs though a network of 105 branches located in 79 towns across Serbia, recently celebrated its second anniversary of successful operation on the local market. In the presence of selected media, top managers and branch directors from its entire bank network, ALPHA BANK held a special celebration in the newly opened restaurant Tema. Having proposed an introductory toast, Mr. Panagiotis Vlasiadis, President of the Executive Board, reminded participants that ALPHA BANK, with an asset balance of 50 billion Euros, is the largest privately owned bank and the second largest financial institution in Greece, offering services to a large number of clients in more than 600 branches in eight countries of Southeastern Europe. Through its acquisition of Jubanka in 2005, ALPHA BANK became one of the ten leading banks in Serbia. Mr. Vlasiadis emphasized the fact that all ALPHA BANK employees are part of the Alpha Team, who together with more than 400,000 clients have a great future based on mutual interdependence with 1410 employees. On this occasion, a new and technically improved web site, www.alphabankserbia.com, was launched to promote all business activities of ALPHA BANK in Serbia and to make available a wide range of information about the bank, its products and services to a large base of clients worldwide.
