THE GLOW OF THE GOLDEN AGE Mala gostiona This popular place of many gastronomic and other events keeps a tradition of good food, wines from grapes cultivated in sandy soil and phenomenal entertainment. The Subotica history archive keeps menus of the Mala Gostiona restaurant dating from the 1890s, when there were more than 80 meals and wines to choose from, which was about the same as the selections at elite restaurants in Vienna and Budapest in those days. The restaurant includes a banquet service with four congress and meeting halls with audio-visual equipment, and a capacity of either 120, 80, 25 or 16 seats. The guarantee of quality is a long and impressive list of satisfied clients. Cherishing genuine values, Mala Gostiona has been organising Sunday family lunch buffets for ten years, serving more than 80 dishes and domestic wines, drafted from barrels, from the SuboticaHorgos sandy terrain, live music and a music-scenic programme for children.

Hotels Park and Jezero All Elitte Palić facilities represent architectural heritage in which authenticity is preserved; all adaptations were done in accordance with the Regional Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments.

All facilities within Elitte Palić, Mala Gostiona, Riblja Čarda, hotels Park and Jezero, are categorised with four stars - the top category for restaurants, and next to the top for hotels. Hidden in a century-old forest, 50 metres from Palić Lake, Park Hotel was built in the mid 1860s. The hotel milieu is inspired with the spirit of the old age, which is successfully combined with a modern interior. The hotel has two single rooms, 17 double rooms, seven rooms with double beds and nine suites. The fitness centre is 50 meters from the Jezero Hotel, near the Female Bath, at a stone’s throw from Palić Lake, which is separated from Park Hotel by the old Great Terrace. The hotel was built in 1903, and its reconstruction was finished recently. It has 19 double rooms and nine rooms with double beds. Besides the standard offer, the hotel has a

Spa Centre offering massages, saunas, and hydromassages. The reception is central in the Park Hotel, while food for guests of both hotels is offered in the restaurant Mala Gostiona.

Riblja čarda The projects for the reconstruction and adaptation of Riblja čarda, a specific restaurant built in the 1880s, were finished in 1997. Riblja čarda was opened as an authentic restaurant of recognisable image, which reminds us of town taverns and which serves outstanding cuisine and offers a great atmosphere. The menu includes river and sea fish specialities, as well as shell fish, and there is no better place to enjoy such fare than at the Palić Lake shore on the summer terrace over the water.

Pizzeria Tennis Club Palić 1878 Within the oldest club in Serbia is a café pizzeria offering guests Italian cuisine dishes, a great choice of salads, vegetables and meat, as well as a rich choice of sweets. Eight tennis courts and a café pizzeria are located in the beautiful milieu of a pine forest; they are open from April to October.
