Donde van, llenan los bailes. “DiscĂ­pulosâ€? del incomparable Juan D’Arienzo, “el Rey del compĂĄsâ€?, enarbolan su ritmo, estilo y energĂ­a, y le suman su propia impronta. La Orquesta La Juan D’arienzo es la sangre nueva del tango. Comenzaron en 2012, ya tienen dos discos grabados y van por el sĂŠptimo viaje al exterior. Antes de emprender su prĂłxima gira -el 17 de este mes-, nos brindaron esta entrevista. Es su director y primer bandoneĂłn Facundo LĂĄzzari, quien expresa en nombre de todos: “Es un honor para nosotros dar vuelta la pĂĄgina y seguir escribiendo en una de las historias mĂĄs brillantes del Tango. Esperamos volver a hacerlo en nuestro tercer disco con mĂĄs material original, y con todo el cariĂąo, la alegrĂ­a y el respeto que nos caracteriza, seguir llevando a D’Arienzo a todo el mundoâ€?. The orchestra La Juan D’arienzo is the new blood of tango. We are an orchestra that arises from the milonga and for the milonga. We do D’Arienzo, and we’re the music that expresses and betrays that today tango is danced the world over, and if tango is danced, '¡$ULHQ]R LV GDQFHG ÂŹ

Nosotros comenzamos este proyecto en el aĂąo 2012 con altĂ­simas expectativas y una vara muy alta para medir nuestro trabajo. En primer lugar, para nosotros compartir el show con “Los Reyes‌â€? es un privilegio muy grande. Hace muchos aĂąos que los conocemos a ellos personalmente y los admiramos mucho. What was your experience of the night of the Contrapunto in La Plata with “Los Reyes del Tango? It was a spectacular night, incredible... Firstly, for us to share the show with “Los Reyes‌â€? is a very great privilege, we’ve known them personally for many years and greatly admire them. ¿Cómo serå la gira por Europa que arranca este mes? Es el sÊptimo Tour Internacional que estamos por realizar. Vamos a volver a festivales increíbles en los que gente de todo el continente se reúne a bailar y se lleva experiencias inolvidables. Nos toca esta vez Alemania, Dinamarca, Inglaterra, Escocia, Grecia, BÊlgica, Espaùa, 3RUWXJDO $XVWULD \ ϧQDOPHQWH 7DLZiQ &KLQD HQ $VLD La semana anterior una pareja de muchachos jóvenes nos comentaba y nos agradecía en Mendoza porque era la primera vez que bailaban tango con una Orquesta Típica en vivo. En el exterior la respuesta y el agradecimiento es el mismo para con nosotros. Realmente es un orgullo llevar esta música a bailarines de todo el mundo, y hacernos dueùos de tantas anÊcdotas y experiencias únicas que viven bailando.

Tell us about the tour in Europe that starts this month? It’s the seventh International Tour we’re going to do. We’ll be returning to incredible festivals at which people from all over the continent gather to dance and go home with unforgettable experiences. This time we go to Germany, Denmark, England, Scotland, Greece, BelJLXP 6SDLQ 3RUWXJDO $XVWULD DQG ϧQDOO\ WR 7DLZDQ &KLQD LQ $VLD Las week a couple of young lads mentioned us and thanked us in MenGR]D EHFDXVH LW ZDV WKH ϧUVW WLPH WKH\ KDG GDQFHG WDQJR ZLWK D 7\SLcal Orchestra playing live. Abroad the response and the gratitude is the same for us. It really makes us proud to take this music to dancers all over the world, and be part of so many anecdotes and unique experiences they have dancing.

Siciliano is your second CD, why did you choose to call it that, and how did you guide yourselves in the choice of repertoire? 6LFLOLDQR LV D QHZ WDQJR ZH JLYLQJ LWV ϧUVW SXEOLF DLULQJ WKDW , FRPposed, in the style of Juan D’Arienzo, and that’s what gives its title to the material. The title is a tribute to my grandfather, Antonio Siciliano, and a gift to him, a great admirer and fan of D’Arienzo‌ and RI %RFDÂŤ +H ODXJKV 7KH VDPH DV ZLWK “Cortando Clavosâ€? we sought to provide a repertoire of classic danceable tangos in the style of all WLPHV EXW WKLV WLPH RXU DLP KDV EHHQ WR RĎąHU VRPHWKLQJ QHZ IURP WKH orchestra, attempting to contribute our little grain of sand to the ocean of creation that is the style of Juan D’Arienzo. The acid test was at the milonga, and “Sicilianoâ€? was imperceptibly danced with freshness and naturalness.

With expressions denoting her high-ranking artistic career and accumulated wisdom, Susana Rinaldi received the Golden Gobbi Award at a ceremony held on 3rd April last in the SalĂłn de Los Angelitos at the National Tango Academy. Expressing her thanks and visibly moved, the performer recalled passages from her life and personalities that were at her side, such as when she made mention of CĂĄtulo Castillo “He was a guardian angel, a soul mateâ€?; of AnĂ­bal Troilo who “had fraternal gesturesâ€?; to the “unforgettable and omnipresentâ€? En la milonga “Lujos”, que organizan los días jueves en El Beso Lucía y Oscar, encontramos a Fer- Tomás Régolo, Lucas Furno y Pablo Fidanza visitaron nando, Guillermo, Eduardo, Alfonso, y Osvaldo Natucchi, antológico organizador de años atrás. “Tango Radio Club”, que emite Continental AM 590.

En “La Milonga El Puchu”, encontramos a sus organizadores celebrando su nueva sede en Obelisco Tango: El Puchu, María Inés y María Cristina. Hubo gran festejo en la mesa de Miguel, José, Richard Tango y amigos; y Rubén Guerra deleitó con sus tangos al francés Michel y su compañera.

(en alguna te vas a encontrar), the book he published last year with en excellent response. “This book is about ourselves, with our music, with the emotion of the embrace, with the adrenalin buzz it gives you when you’re getting ready to go to the milonga‌ There are interesting stories I picked up, like the one told by the 9-year-old son of a milonguera about what his life is like when his mother gets ready to go to the milonga, or the one from the granddaughter at her 15th birthday party who instead of dancing a waltz as is traditional with her father, asked her grandfather to dance a tango with her, or the one about the ghost of a milonga‌ There are all sorts of stories, amusing, pleasant, emotional‌ There are my own stories, that I experienced and others of my friends, which they told me or that I lived through with them,â€? describes Carlos Bouzas. “Historias de Milongasâ€? is now to be found at the National Library, also at the Tango University, it was launched in Uruguay, at important milongas of our media, and may be purchased direct at many of them.
