Esmerelda Montenegro Owen is the curator of marketing and community engagement at the National Steinbeck Center in Salinas and is also a journalism professor at Gavilan College in Gilroy.
Breanna Gilbert is the director of marketing at Planned Parenthood in San Jose and founding member of CreaTV, a public access station serving San Jose. She’s dedicated her volunteer time to community media outlets.

Joannie Gillespie is a professor of media literacy, digital culture and psychology at Berkeley City College and the University of California at Berkeley. She’s been a KQED docent for the past four years.
