INAUGURATION OF THE FRUIT TREES OF THE HIPPOMENE LEAUVA PARK NEAR GRAND CAMP SCHOOL / EARTH DAY 2021

To celebrate Earth Day on April 22, 2021, we asked the municipality of Les Abymes for permission to plant a symbolic tree in the park in front of our school. They were very generous and offered to plant a tree for each class of primary and kindergarten combined. this gave us a total of 12 fruit trees that we have chosen and for which we have drawn up a data sheet. Officers vitrified these cards and planted them in front of each tree so that walkers would know all about the tree. Today all the classes are invited to come and discover this work accompanied by the officials of the municipality in charge of the environment and the living environment. The students are proud of their work and, living in this neighborhood, they promise to take care of the trees.
