LOS CABOS

Los Cabos is a magical place with crystal clear waters and contrasts. Located between two seas and the mountainous desert called "The end of the Earth", since it is the last portion of land of the Peninsula of Baja California Sur. Los Cabos offers unparalleled natural beauty and endless adventure, relaxation and luxury activities. Los Cabos is made up mainly of two cities, San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, joined by a tourist corridor of more than 32 kilometers, where you will find majestic resorts and world-class golf courses.

4

CABO SAN LUCAS

It is located at the tip of the peninsula of Baja California Sur, which in addition to having beautiful desert landscapes and beaches, it is also world renowned for being one of the most popular destinations, the Marlin capital, and home Of El Arco, also called "The End of the Earth" where the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean are located. It is hard to believe that at first Cabo San Lucas was no more than a fishing village, established since its colonization with a little population. Cabo San Lucas began to develop due to the fact that it is rich in marine life and because it was an isolated place. This made it a favorite destination of fishermen looking for the larger species and the celebrities, as they sought privacy. Today, Cabo San Lucas boasts some of the world's most luxurious resorts, a world-class marina and the largest fishing tournament in the world. Besides that, it is no longer just visited by celebrities looking for privacy, but by thousands of people, who come to enjoy the nightlife, the best sport fishing, and a wide variety of water activities.

5

SAN JOSE DEL CABO

A long time ago, before even tourism, in the region of Los Cabos lived an ancient culture of agile runners and tireless walkers called the Pericues. They were collectors, fishermen and hunters who lived under palm trees, surrounded by birds in the estuary of San José del Cabo. It is well known that the Pericus honored a superior being whom they called Niparajá. At the beginning of 1530, the first expeditions to explore this area were carried out by Hernan Cortes. So this small town has bold stories because it was once used as a point of protection for pirates. Around 1730, the Mission of San José del Cabo "Añuití" along with a "Plaza" were founded in Zaragoza street, which still remains until this day. In 1984, the airport of San José del Cabo was built, which attracted the attention of different tourist complexes interested in opening the doors of progress to this oasis. Due to the cozy architecture of the main square, the center of San José del Cabo has become an Art District, where it is possible to find works from different parts of the world, but mainly, traditional Mexican art and local creations. It is an excellent place for shopping and eating. San Jose del Cabo also boasts a picturesque world-class marina facing the Sea of Cortez and breathtaking golden sandy beaches with famous surfing spots and it is home to a great wildlife with seabirds, gray whales and turtle hatchlings which go to sea for the first time.

MEETINGS AND CONVENTIONS When work calls, business and pleasure combine perfectly in the state-of-the-art of Los Cabos facilities. Any business meeting, annual retreat or corporate meeting can feel totally out of this world when it takes place at such a beautiful and vibrant destination. There are very few destinations around the world where an outdoor seminar can be interrupted by a visual spectacle such as that of whales. The meeting space in Los Cabos is one of the most modern and expansive you can find. Meetings and conventions - regardless of size or caliber - are handled with mastery, high level hospitality, and perfect logistics. The result, of course, is that you and your fellow congressmen will have countless possibilities to work and have fun. Among the best venues for events is Los Cabos Convention Center, a state-of-the-art facility with 72,000 square feet of space that is minutes from the main hotels (Under remodeling at this point). The convention center is renowned for its environmentally sustainable features, including a series of green walls that prevent the building from overheating and has more than 1,000 solar panels. The facility also has a full-service business center - to meet any needs that may arise and a terrace overlooking the Sea of Cortez.

7

BAJA’S MAGIC TOWNS The Magical Towns of Mexico are localities with singular attributes, legends, history, nonpareil facts, customs that show their rich culture. Here in Baja California Sur, there are two of the most amazing magical towns: Loreto and Todos Santos.

LORETO is the oldest settlement on the Peninsula of Baja California, protected by Sierra La Giganta and the Sea of Cortez. Its landscape denotes the colors that degrade and combine between the blue and green of the islands and the sea. Loreto has a rich history to know, as well as diverse landscapes to explore such as it’s great beaches where you can practice kayaking, snorkeling, and sailing. Its islands, such as Isla del Carmen, offers a little to suit all tastes, with wonderful beaches.

Activities. Loreto is an excellent place for sport fishing, where you can catch mahi mahi, wahoo, golden tuna among others. You can not miss touring the city, visiting the missions and its architecture, the Museum of the First Mission, as well as the golf course and the professional tennis center. A tour to the Sierra Gigante, the Mission of San Javier founded in 1699, and of course the sighting of the gray whale, are a must!

The Danzante Island, adorned with rugged cliffs, is ideal for outdoor lovers. And the Catalan Island is ideal for natureseekers who would be in awe before the splendid and unique flora and fauna of the place.

8

TODOS SANTOS. Deep in the desert of Baja California, there is an oasis of green fields and orchards of fruit trees. It is Todos Santos, a fascinating town where the interaction of diverse cultures is a common sight every day; tourists are charmed by the varied artistic activity that takes place in this community, for example, through multiple festivals and galleries. You must also experience the enchantment of its streets full of tradition and its peaceful beaches that contemplate the horizon of the Pacific. Todos Santos is the home of surf champions, artists and foreigners, who have found in this Baja Californian village the best place to live. Founded in 1733, when the mission of Santa Rosa de Todos Santos was established, the town we recommend is located 80 kilometers from the city of La Paz. What makes Todos Santos so irresistible is its pleasant climate, its proximity to the Pacific Ocean, and the vast tourist offer that it offers. As you travel through the streets of Todos Santos, one encounters continuous wonders among its various colonial-style buildings. Scattered among its streets, there are more than 20 art galleries, where creative locals and foreign exhibit their aesthetic proposals. There are about 20 art galleries; here, painters and sculptors find in this unique landscape a source of inexhaustible inspiration.

Every winter, amazing Gray Whales migrate from the chilly waters of Alaska to the Bays along the Mexican Pacific and the Sea of Cortez. You may also have the opportunity to see other marine mammals such as Humpback Whales, Sea Lions, Spinner Dolphins, Bottlenose Dolphins, and Spotted Dolphins. You will never forget this once-in-alifetime experience of witnessing these majestic animals in the wild. Officially, whale watching season begins in December and ends at the end of April. Come and admire these colossal creatures next to their calves performing wonderful jumps together out of the water. With a wide variety of boats such as speedboats or catamarans, you can enjoy this event which offers a 2-hour tour with drinks and snacks included.

FISHING. This destination offers to sport fishermen the experience of world class fishing in any type of boat from a panga, average boat or on a luxury yacht within which they live the catch of species such as the Dorado, Tuna, Wahoo, Roosterfish, Sailfish, Black and Blue Marlin; these latter ones come to have a weight of between 180 pounds and up to more than 400 pounds. Thanks to the location of its main marina in Cabo San Lucas, it invites us to sail in the Pacific Ocean exploring the point known as the golden gate or on the sea of Cortes, the Gordon Banks depending on the type of boat that we use. For this activity, the boats usually leave between 6 am and 7 am with a sail duration between 5 hours and 8 hours to fully live this experience: A fishing license is required and the proceedings help to afford conservation programs. In the months of October, this port is dressed in luxury with fishing tournaments such as the Bisbee with more than 150 boats - jack pole tuna and sailfish are the targets.
