Welcome to the new edition of Flying Along with the BLUE-BEE Squad! A section of the CommuniQuest where we share everything about what we’ve been doing in the company. And in this one we’ll talk about the ending of 2023. Time flies, and it is amazing seeing how much our company has grown and developed during these 37 years. And as each year goes by, we love taking a moment to remember all of our accomplishments and adventures. So let’s begin!

Flying along with the

Blue-Bee Squad At the beginning of 2023, we had the opportunity to visit a lot of our hotel allies in the Mexican Caribbean. It was a great opportunity to catch up with a lot of our good friends and prepare for an amazing year. We sure are going to visit them once again this 2024. As the months went by, we had lots of virtual meetings with our industry allies, and we received thousands of clients from our different destinations of LATAM. Thank you all for your business and trust. Some months later, Mariana LEON visited the event of Lamont 2023 Associate Xchange Summit. It was incredible and we made a lot of amazing connections.

M&I + Ad-Hoc Events Guru’s Digest by IVI Corporation | Page 5

As the year began, we visited one of the best networking events in the industry, the MPI Caribe Mexicano Chapter. During this event, our founder Mr. Jose Manuel Garcia was invited to the podium to give a speech. What a remarkable event! During September we were part of IMEX Las Vegas, one of the best events in the Meetings and Events industry, and definitely one of our favorites. Finally, as the year came to an end, we organized several amazing CSR events with our foundation Amigos of the Planet. There’s nothing like giving back to our world and community. 2023 was amazing, but 2024 for sure will be even better! So keep flying along with us, and we will keep working hard to MAKE YOU LOOK GREAT!

Starting the New Year with Daring Adventures

Where Fire Meets Flavor Karuma is a brand new steakhouse and grill at TierraLuna Gardens. The word Karuma is a combination of two words from the Mayan language meaning “fire in the night.” A group program calls for a special place to dine and celebrate, especially if it is a work meeting. Plan your event at the best steakhouse restaurant and enjoy exclusive menus available for meetings or incentives on the Pacific Coast. Karuma features a sophisticated take on classic steakhouse and grill favorites by Executive Chef Rogelio Dominguez. Handcrafted specialty cocktails made by highly trained mixologists, and spectacular ocean views to round out a unique experience. The menu includes the highest quality cuts of tender beef including Bone-In Rib Eye, Kansas Steak, Prime Rib, and Tomahawk. One of the must-try dishes on the menu is Chateaubriand with Béarnaise sauce and Lyonnaise potatoes. For a Mexican specialty, try the Short Rib Chicharrón, which is slow-cooked for 8 hours. Vegetarians and vegans will also love dining at Karuma. After all, the grill is not only for meat! Look for signature dishes such as Vegan Tostadas, Mushroom Bisque, and Spinach Salad with baby beets, toasted pistachios, and a champagne vinaigrette!

Culinary Quest "Ponche Navideño" is a traditional hot Christmas drink that brings a sense of nostalgia, like a warm family hug. This recipe, known as "Grandma's recipe," is cherished and passed down through generations. It is a staple in most Mexican homes during the Holiday Season. The recipe itself is quite simple, requiring water, Mexican guavas, tejocote, prunes, raisins, tamarind, sugar cane sticks, cinnamon, and sugar. You can also add alcohol if desired. As the ingredients are seasonal, preparation for ponche starts as early as November when Mexican guavas and tejocote become available. The fruits used in ponche may vary depending on the region in Mexico. Some versions include acid fruits like oranges, Mexican sweet lime, or pineapple. Additionally, some cooks may substitute hibiscus for tamarind as a spice.

Traditional Mexican Christmas Punch INGREDIENTS: 12 Mexican guavas (chop in 4 pieces) 500grams of “tejocote” 500grams of prunes 100grams of raisins 100grams of tamarind (around 5-6 pieces) 2 Canela Sticks 500grams of sugar Sugar cane sticks (discretional) Place water in a stockpot and bring to a boil (recipe for around 5-6 liters). Once is boiling add 500 grams of sugar and stir until dissolved. Add the chopped guavas, “tejocote”, prunes, raisins, sugar cane, and cinnamon sticks. Simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally and removing cinnamon sticks. Add tamarind and simmer for another hour or 2. Serve hot in mugs with fruit. Add rum or tequila if desired.

Stir up your senses with the perfect cup of ''Ponche''.
