CREDENTIALS Media credentials are issued to accredited members of the media only. Please submit requests to Pat Salvas at least one working day prior to the event. Credentials may be picked up at the Thompson Arena media will call, located on the left-hand side of the ticket office inside the arena's main entrance way begining 90 minutes prior to the start of each contest.

TELEPHONES & INTERNET The Thompson Arena Press Box has telephones, ethernet lines and wireless internet available for media use. Media members requiring dedicated telephone or ethernet lines are asked to contact Salvas or another member of the Dartmouth Varsity Athletics Communications Department prior to the event in order to guarantee that these requests be handled in a timely manner. Media members are encouraged to use the "Dartmouth Public" wireless network while inside Thompson Arena, but ethernet ports can be provided upon request. GAME SERVICES Pre-game media notes, statistical updates, line charts, game programs and conference releases will be available to the working media in the press box at Thompson Arena. Shot charts and updated stat sheets will be provided between each period and complete game packets are available following the game. In-game statistics will be distributed to members of the media upon request.

POST-GAME WORK AREA The press box will be available following each home game as work area for media. Final statistics and game packets will be available.

2012-13 INFORMATION

MEDIA INFORMATION INTERVIEW POLICIES All interviews with Dartmouth studentathletes and coaches must be arranged through the Dartmouth College Varsity Athletics Communications Department. Coaches and players are typically made available before and after practice on a first-come, first-served basis. No interviews will be granted during a practice session. Student-athletes and coaches have been advised not to conduct interviews without first being notified by a member of the Varsity Athletics Communications Department. Coach Gaudet and certain players will be made available for weekly phone interviews only when requests are made through Salvas or another member of the Varsity Athletics Communications Department staff.

POST-GAME INTERVIEWS Post-game interviews will be conducted following an NCAA mandated 10-minute cooling-off period. Head Coach Bob Gaudet is available outside the Big Green locker room following his post-game radio interview. Big Green players are also available outside the locker room. Media requests for both Dartmouth and opposing coaches and players should be made to Salvas at the conclusion of the event. Opponent requests will be forwarded to the visiting SID.Those who seek post-game interviews without proper credentials will not be permitted to the media scrum. The Big Green hockey locker room is closed to the media after games with no exceptions. BIG GREEN ON THE INTERNET Follow the Big Green all season and access updated stats, game notes and feature stories along with weekly video interviews with head coach Bob Gaudet on the Dartmouth College Athletics website: DartmouthSports.com.

Pat Salvas begins his second year at Dartmouth in 2012-13. A native of Amherst, N.H., Salvas returned to his home state after spending a year in Orlando working at the University of Central Florida in 2010-11. While at UCF, Salvas worked with four teams that won Conference USA titles: football, women's basketball and women's indoor and outdoor track & field. Salvas also worked with the men's soccer team at UCF, traveling with the Knights to the Second Round of the 2010 NCAA Tournament against Michigan. Prior to his time in Orlando, Salvas spent three years working in the Quinnipiac Sports Information Department. While at QU, Salvas served as the primary media contact for more than a dozen sports as well as the secondary

contact for the nationally-ranked men’s hockey team. A 2008 graduate of Quinnipiac, Salvas also pursued a master’s degree in public relations his final two years while working as a graduate assistant in the sports information office. During his undergraduate time, Salvas interned with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League (AHL). It was in Bridgeport that he was a part of Sound Tigers TV, the first allaccess video portal on any team’s website in the league. He also worked closely with the Director of Media Relations, coordinating interviews, press conferences, writing press releases and feature stories for the league website as well as AAA Magazine. Salvas and his girlfriend, Candice, currently reside in Enfield.
