ngrid Hoffmann appeared on the February cover of City & Shore in advance of her victory in the 2012 South Beach Wine & Food Festival Swine & Wine event. Festivalgoers couldn’t resist her Pulled Pork Tacos with Guava Salsa Negra and Pickled Mustard Seeds, and they voted it the top dish. She plans to return in 2013 to defend her title, so naturally she recommends giving tickets to the mouth-watering, star-studded festival as gifts. The telegenic chef, who has a home in the Gulf Coast fishing mecca of Destin, has been sharing all three with Floridians lately. He spiced up the March/April issue of City & Shore in advance of his appearance at the American Fine Wine Competition Gala. He also has been taping Emeril’s Florida, a new show about the Sunshine State, expected to debut in January on The Cooking Channel Network. “[The show is] not just about cooking, it’s not just restaurants – although that’s a nice chunk of it. But it’s about the beaches, it’s about fishing, it’s about farming, it’s about the agriculture,” he says.
