Coming Soon To a “Batter’s Box” Near You Every team will be offered a space every edition of the Newsletter to submit something funny... write about their game... whatever...and since we’re doing a newsletter every Tuesday of every week, you have plenty of time to come up with something! If your team doesn’t submit anything, and isn’t in the newsletter, talk to your captain!
Ideas for Team Submissions

When I say, submit something for your team, here are some ideas: • Play by plays of the game • Document the debauchery at the bar - i.e. describing someone’s amazing acting skills hobbling across the bar with a “sprained ankle” just to Ice a teammate. ] • Draw pictures!!!!! • Favorite quotes, poems, song lyrics, movie scripts, YouTube video, or motivational speeches! • Email chains from the morning after . • Funny pictures of you, your team, or something random on the internet • Give your team member awards - drunkest, loudest, person with the least shame, best off the face catch, etc.! • Anything. Really. Someone on your team is creative.
Submissions are due EVERY Tuesday by 7 p.m. ** If you need extra time, email me and just let me know.

Dear BYSC community, I hope all is well with y'all. I have been in Missouri now for 24 days and all I can say is that this place is way better than the Hampton Roads and the people are way cooler and nicer. Ok, that might be a lie, although local treats alligator bites and frog legs are not too shabby. So, Charm "The only cool" Reyes invited me to write a few notes every week and, after some serious thought, I accepted. My decision was solely based on Down Wiff It's performance during week 1 which, in case you didn't noticed, was pretty darn stellar. One of the highlights of St. Robert, MO (for us locals, it's just St. Bob) is a small pub on historic route 66 called Hopper's Pub. They have, wait for it, 66 beers on tap and you can ask for a punch card to keep track of how many you've drank. Once you drink all 66 beers, you become part of Club-66, get a t-shirt and get a plaque on the bar's wall <picture here?>. Beth and I have started a competition to see who makes it first. I will let you know when I beat her. That does it for my first write-up as a retired team Captain. All in all, it's pretty quiet over here, but there are still a few things to do. Our door is always open if you want to get away for a few days (or weeks) and we'd be happy to have any of you (with the exception of Jon Reyes, James Salgado, and Jamie Hop, among others). If your name starts with Robbie and ends in Wright, Beth and I will probably even pay for your airfare, just for being so damn cool (Sorry Charm, you'll have to pay for yours). Always Down Wiff It!

Tyler Murphy – Kickball – Balls to the Wall Well ladies… you heard it here first… Tyler Murphy is a one helluva catch! According to Facebook, by day Tyler is a professional kickball person, but by night you can probably find Tyler lurking around the corners of Chicks and other Shore Drive locales. Don’t be afraid of the soulless ginger, you can hardly even tell he has red hair and Irish roots unless you see him with his shirt off, then put on sunglasses! If you want to have a great time and be treated like a lady, Tyler is your guy. He is always smiling and looking for fun as well as keeping super active and in great shape! No one knows how to make new friends like this guy, so get him to buy you a drink or take you on a date and worst case scenario you’ve made an awesome new friend!
