Coming Soon To “The Bench” Near You Every team will be offered a space every edition of the Newsletter to submit something funny... write about their game... whatever...and since we’re doing a newsletter every Wednesday of every week, you have plenty of time to come up with something! If your team doesn’t submit anything, and isn’t in the newsletter, talk to your captain!

When I say, submit something for your team, here are some ideas: • Have a single teammate? Submit him/her for “The Hookup” • Document the debauchery at the bar - i.e. describing someone’s amazing acting skills hobbling across the bar with a “sprained ankle” just to Ice a teammate. ] • Draw pictures!!!!! • Favorite quotes, poems, song lyrics, movie scripts, YouTube video, or motivational speeches! • Email chains from the morning after . • Funny pictures of you, your team, or something random on the internet • Give your team member awards - drunkest, loudest, person with the least shame, best off the face catch, etc.! • Anything. Really. Someone on your team is creative.

DISCLAIMER: if you have problems with keeping your language in check, not bashing refs, being overly nasty to other teams, and other no-no’s, the Editor does have the right to not include your write up in the newsletter if the content is deemed inappropriate or out of line. We will try to screen write ups as they are received, will try to let teams know so that they have time to resubmit, but there is no guarantee. The easiest thing to do is to keep it clean, be nice, and remember this is all in good fun.

TOURNAMENT BRACKETS
Rule Clarification Section: Officials Rule # 11 11. REFS have the right to keep players out of the game for abusive language/actions. A warning will be given first and then expulsion from the game for a second offense. Note: offending player AND the captain will be asked to leave. It is the responsibility of the Refs to make sure games run on time and smoothly. Refs are authorized to eject any person who is “disturbing the peace” of the game. A warning will be issued to the Captain, if it happens again, the Captain and the offending player can be ejected. Section: Roster Rule # 1 1. All players must be listed on the roster and acknowledge upon registration the Terms & Conditions to participate. No subs allowed. If you have an injured player, you may replace that player. The person replacing the injured player will need to register in our system. Injured player may not play for the rest of the season. Section: Outs & Blocking Rule #8 & Rule #3 8. If you block/deflect a ball and lose control of the ball in your hands, your are OUT. The minute you lose control of the ball off of a deflection, even if that means you bobble the ball and catch it, you are OUT. • If the player that drops/bobbles the ball catches the thrown ball, it is not a fair catch. • If a teammate catches the thrower’s ball after it is deflected off of a bobbled/dropped ball, the thrower is out. Section: 1 vs 1 & Outs Rule #2 & Rule #13
2. If a player catches the ball INBOUNDS (only 1 foot in is required, i.e. College Football catch rule) and then steps out of bounds in the process, the thrower is out, as well as the player who steps out of bounds. Both players are out if this happens. If this happens in a 1 vs 1 situation, whatever occurs first will be the out. If a player catches their opponents ball while in bounds, the thrower is out and the player who caught the ball wins the match. College Football Catch - 1 foot needs to be INBOUNDS. If other foot is in the air out of bounds and has not touched the ground yet, it is a fair catch. NEW RULE Section: Outs Rule # 14 14. If you are clearly falling out of bounds and use a ball to assist with staying inbounds, you are OUT. Player falling out of bounds can’t use ball on floor or ball with a player (who is out) to push themselves back in. The only assistance a player can have, if falling out of bounds, is a teammate who is still in the game.
The Hookup LINDA CARRERA Linda Carrera – a natural beauty…looks the exact same when she wakes up as she does when she goes to bed. Trust this…this is coming from the mouth of her BFF, Stella. I’m sure she’s woken up to this pretty face plenty’o’mornings. She loves her friends, and is very loyal. You cross her or her friends…you better watch out! Linda’s quite a bit of a foodie. She LOVES to eat…what woman doesn’t. This is the way to a woman’s heart. So if you want to get to know this chick, you better love food as much as she does. Don’t worry fellas, she also likes to work out! So I guess we can say she works out, so she can eat! What a catch, a chick with a banging body that can eat! The only flaw this girl has is…her love for the Steelers (um…boo!) You can find this girl in a light orange/coralish color shirt on the dodgeball courts. If interested, and you’ve got your ish together, find her! Or you can message one of us, and we’ll put you in touch! I mean, that’s why we’re here, right?!?!
