Coming Soon To “The Bench” Near You Every team will be offered a space every edition of the Newsletter to submit something funny... write about their game... whatever...and since we’re doing a newsletter every Wednesday of every week, you have plenty of time to come up with something! If your team doesn’t submit anything, and isn’t in the newsletter, talk to your captain!

When I say, submit something for your team, here are some ideas: • Have a single teammate? Submit him/her for “The Hookup” • Document the debauchery at the bar - i.e. describing someone’s amazing acting skills hobbling across the bar with a “sprained ankle” just to Ice a teammate. ] • Draw pictures!!!!! • Favorite quotes, poems, song lyrics, movie scripts, YouTube video, or motivational speeches! • Email chains from the morning after . • Funny pictures of you, your team, or something random on the internet • Give your team member awards - drunkest, loudest, person with the least shame, best off the face catch, etc.! • Anything. Really. Someone on your team is creative.

We will try to screen write ups as they are received, will try to let teams know so that they have time to resubmit, but there is no guarantee. The easiest thing to do is to keep it clean, be nice, and remember this is all in good fun.

Beautiful Faces of Dodgeball Dodgeball faces are THE BEST faces! It’s like a sneeze…nobody has control over what your face looks like when you throw, get hit or dodge. If you think you’re safe from our camera’s…think again!
The Hookup Natalie Birkelien A newbie to backyard sports, Natalie has jumped balls deep into her first season of dodgeball, thanks to her roommate who forced her off the couch and onto the court. Don’t be fooled by her shy demeanor on the court—the flying balls are bound to knock a few cobwebs off the athleticism she honed as a high school varsity lacrosse player. As a recent graduate of James Madison Univeristy and new resident of Virginia Beach, she can be found putting the flavors of local coffee shops and breweries to the test of her well-refined palate. When she’s not busy dodging balls, this babe can be found on a Friday night with a fresh glass of tequila grapefruit in hand, blissfully binge watching her favorite shows or laughing over social media’s latest meme creation. Be warned though Sunday is for football and beer- we have a die hard Ravens fan. Natalie is a true doglover at heart, and one day hopes to adopt a furry companion of her own. She loves long walks on the beach, but don’t mistake her for a hopeless romantic the only rom com she’ll watch is Crazy, Stupid Love. A Jonas Brothers’ fan from birth, Natalie one day wishes to marry Nick Jonas. However, she also prides herself on her sense of realism and practicality, and knows his level of commitment to their future is not yet matured. So, in the mean time, Natalie is looking for a man with whom she can relax alongside after a long day at work—who also wouldn’t mind tagging along to Trader Joe’s to replenish her stash of coconut water and LaCroix, while fully admiring (and/or sharing) her opinion that life has too many great beverages to offer to simply sit back and sip *regular* water. She’s currently California dreaming, so boys if you want to make her dreams come true look no further for a west coast travel partner.
