Ministers Urged To Attend Drug Abuse Meeting Monday The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has again re-scheduled a meeting designed to heighten parents’ awareness of drug and alcohol abuse problems among teenagers. Winter weather has delayed the meeting at least twice since the first of the year. The next meeting is set for Monday, March 1 at 6:00 in the Circuit Courtroom of the Wayne County Courthouse. “We’re urging our ministers to come out and hear about what we’re experiencing among our youth and how they can help out with the problem,” said Chief Sheriff’s Deputy Gerald Baer.
