Carmel Catholic students come from four surrounding counties, multiple countries, and over 100 schools creating a diverse and inclusive community.

90% of students connect through more than 40 clubs and activities, from academic teams to student council and community clubs.


In 2019, Carmel welcomed our first class of international students expanding our students’ world view.

85% of students participate in interscholastic sports and intramural play.

Students offered more than 42,366 hours of Christian service last year cultivating a lifetime commitment of community engagement.

Support for Success

Academic Resource Center – strengthens performance through tutoring and advanced study skills for all. Serna Learning Resource Center – supports students with IEPs and 504 Accommodations. College and Career Resource Center – comprehensive direction to make the most of your Carmel education. School Counselors – individually assigned support for each student’s four years at Carmel. School Psychologist and Drop-In Center – provides individual and group social and emotional support.



Faith in Action My favorite part about my four years at Carmel was the wonderful faith community that it provided me. I met so many new people who helped me grow in my faith. The one-on-one time with teachers allowed me to thrive and grasp the material faster. The longer class periods on a block schedule gave me flexibility in my schedule and helped prepare me for the college experience. Rebecca Zurek ’21 earned the coveted Best in Category award for Aerospace Science at the Illinois Junior Academy of Science State Exposition and won her 2nd National Association of Rocketry title

Strengthening Body, Mind, and Team

Riley Palm ’19 won his second-straight class 2A 138-pound state wrestling championship and Tommy Hoy ’19 placed 4th in state, 2A 160-pounds in 2019.

Our gymnastics team placed 5th in state in 2019. Lyndsey Basara ’21 placed 3rd in floor, Izzy Kropiwiec ’20 placed 4th in vault, and Clare Keane ’22 placed 9th in bars.

Sam Wahlers’19 placed 9th in pole vault at the 2019 state track meet.


Our partnership with EFT Sports Performance provides world-class training for our athletes.

Our Investment in Your Child’s Future 1 out of 4 students receive financial assistance. Tuition for the 2019-2020 school year is $12,500. Additional fees for athletics, course materials, and clubs. Over $2 million is allocated for financial assistance – a 25% increase in available funding. In addition to specialized scholarships, Carmel Catholic has expanded its Merit Scholarships to recognize our Entrance Exam top 10% performing students. Individual financial aid counseling is available. Expanded transportation resources to ease access to our destination campus include a new carpool app.


Return on Your Investment Carmel graduates have been awarded $60,000 on average to be applied to their chosen four-year undergraduate program. The class of 2019 is comprised of: • 2 National Merit Award Finalists • 4 National Merit Commended Students • 84 Illinois State Scholars 99% college bound.
