DID YOU KNOW?

The amount of college scholarships received by Carmel Catholic graduates often far exceeds the amount their families paid for high school tuition.

As a Carmel alumna, it had been my dream to send my kids to Carmel. Although there were challenges to make this happen — transportation, financial, social — Carmel seemed to help remove any barriers to make this dream a reality. People often question why we would sacrifice to send our kids to Carmel — especially when we live in an award-winning school district — I try to summarize the holistic Carmel experience that I know each of my kids received.

We did not simply send our son to Carmel for its academic reputation, but because in these critical teen years, reinforcement of faith, service to all peoples and kindness are necessary foundations for adulthood. Academically, Carmel exceeded our expectations — to have him qualify for and succeed at the highest levels of math and science was due in no small part to dedicated teachers. The personal interactions with his teachers and coaches were gratifying and important. And his development as a person walking in faith and service was thanks to this school. He is not only ready for college but he is ready for life.
