att Ponte enters his second year at Bryant University, where he serves as the pitching coach for the Bulldogs.

Ponte joined the staff in the 2008-09 season, where the team had a 32-22 record in their inaugural season in division 1 baseball. As a team Bryant posted a 4.64 team E.R.A. with two pitchers earning allNew England honors (Eric Polvani and Kevin Cobb). Along with working with the pitchers, Ponte will also be assisting with recruiting and the set-up of the Bulldog Baseball camps. Ponte had a distinguished playing career as a pitcher at Wheaton College in Norton, Mass., where he was a part of three NEWMAC championship teams and helped the Lyons advance to NCAA regional play
in 2002, 2003 and 2005. Ponte finished his career with a 20-9 record, posting a 3.63 ERA in 238 innings pitched. Ponte graduated from Wheaton ranked among the program's leaders in wins, ERA, innings pitched and complete games. Ponte lives in Fairhaven, MA with his wife Erin. The couple just celebrated the birth of their first child this October
ANDY KOOCHER First season

oocher joins the Bulldog staff for the 2010 season after spending three seasons as an assistant coach at Wheaton College. While coaching at his alma mater, Koocher helped lead the Lyons to two conference championships and two New England regional appearances, working with the hitters and running the team's offense as the third base coach.

years as a player, the Lyons won four New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) regular-season crowns and made a trio of NCAA tournament appearances. He capped off his senior year with a New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA) All-New England Second Team selection and was selected to appear in the NEIBA All-Star Game at Fenway Park. In addition to his recruiting responsibilities, Koocher will work primarily with the Bulldogs hitters, and he will help direct the team's offense as the third base coach.

First season
Bryant ’09
evin Cobb, a senior captain on last year's Bulldog squad, spent four years as a pitcher for Bryant, and now joins the coaching staff as he enters his first season as assistant coach.

Cobb's illustrious career saw him compile a 19-3 record on the mound while helping the Bulldogs to two NCAA regional appearances. Cobb captained the Bulldogs to a 32-22 record in the program's inaugural Division I season, ending the year with a perfect 7-0 record and earning All-New England honors. Cobb and his teammates earned 128 wins over his four years as a player, including 11 in postseason play.

obb will be assisting with the pitchers as well as the defense for the Bulldogs this season. A native of Acton, Mass., Cobb graduated from Bryant University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a concentration in finance.
