They did it again! Capoeira Mandinga San Diego’s annual batizado... …was, once again, a huge success! With the presence of legendary mestres from Brazil, such as Lobão, Deputado, Quebrinha, and Espirro-Mirim, to name a few, and capoeiristas from all over the US, it couldn’t have been any different. The key this year was keeping it simple: cheap and fun! With an entire week of workshops and rodas, leading to a weekend full of exciting events, everyone was sure to train hard and, most importantly, have a great time! The secret equation? Legendary masters + enthusiastic capoeiristas + great energy = quality capoeira & samba = great fun As for the group’s work hard, play hard philosophy… let’s just say that the Sunday festivities gave the event its grand finale with great food, games and never-ending live music! Thanks to everyone who participated, Capoeira Mandinga San Diego’s 5th graduation ceremony turned out to be an unforgettable event!
