Il 13 dicembre 2017 rappresenta un importante traguardo: il nostro tredicesimo anno di attività. Per questa speciale occasione, vorrei esprimere la nostra più sincera gratitudine a tutti i passeggeri Blue Air. L’anno che sta per concludersi è un ulteriore passo avanti per lo sviluppo di Blue Air in Europa. Abbiamo fatto importanti investimenti sulla nostra lotta, che oggi conta 29 aeroplani, e ordinato 12 Boeing 737 MAX 8 che entreranno a far parte della lotta nel 2019. Nel 2017 abbiamo inaugurato 34 nuove destinazioni con l’apertura di tre basi operative: Alghero, Costanza e Liverpool. Blue Air è quindi ora in grado di ofrire ai propri passeggeri la possibilità di raggiungere 100 destinazioni direttamente dalle sue nove basi: Alghero, Bucarest, Bacau, Cluj-Napoca, Costanza, Iasi, Larnaca, Liverpool e Torino. Lo sviluppo della compagnia è evidente anche dal crescente numero dei passeggeri. Secondo le stime il 2017 registrerà 5 milioni di passeggeri contro i 3,6 milioni del 2016. Per sempliicare la prenotazione e fornire una più gradevole esperienza digitale, abbiamo lanciato la nuova piattaforma www.blueairweb.com, con nuove funzionalità che vi aiuteranno a scegliere le vostre prossime mete e a personalizzare il viaggio. Gearing up for 2018 On 13 December 2017, we reach a signiicant milestone as we celebrate 13 years of operations. On this special occasion, I would like to extend our most sincere appreciation to all Blue Air passengers. The year that ends represents the further development of Blue Air in Europe. We have invested signiicantly in our leet, which has reached a total of 29 aircraft, and signed a irm order for 12 Boeing 737 MAX 8, that will enter the leet starting with Q2, 2019. Arriva Natale e inalmente è di nuovo tempo di vacanze! E cosa c’è di meglio di un bel viaggio per chiudere bene l’anno che se ne va o salutare come si conviene quello che sta arrivando? Un bel viaggio magari in Sicilia, una terra meravigliosa e sempre sorprendente, che nei mesi invernali è forse più afascinante che in estate. O a Bucarest, una delle grandi capitali dell’Europa dell’Est che negli ultimi anni ha vissuto un periodo di crescita e trasformazione. Ma non inisce qui. In questo numero del magazine vi proponiamo anche due grandi classici per i viaggi di dicembre e gennaio: le mete da scegliere per una vacanza sulla neve e i dieci mercatini più belli d’Europa. Con una tappa a Siviglia, poi, continua il nostro viaggio alla scoperta degli aeroporti che ci salutano o ci danno il benvenuto ogni volta che prendiamo un aereo. Da non perdere, mi raccomando, le interviste al grande Roberto Bolle e alla bellissima Rocío Muñoz Morales. Dopo il capolavoro diventato ormai un simbolo di Milano, in arrivo il primo Bosco Verticale francese irmato Stefano Boeri Architetti

La Forêt Blanche è il nome del progetto irmato Stefano Boeri Architetti che porta a Parigi, nel Municipio di Villiers sur Marne, il primo Bosco Verticale francese. Le facciate dell’ediicio saranno ricoperte da 2.000 alberi, arbusti e piante per una supericie verde che equivale a un ettaro di foresta. Ospiterà appartamenti residenziali nei piani alti e uici ed esercizi commerciali nei piani bassi e i balconi e le terrazze, con orientamento a est e a ovest, consentiranno il passaggio della luce solare tutto il giorno, nonché un sistema di illuminazione e ventilazione naturale. E, ciliegina sulla torta, un’eccezionale vista panoramica sul centro della Ville Lumière. Il progetto ha la irma dello studio newyorkese Diller Scoidio+Renfro, autori della high Line di Manhattan. Oltre ai suoi 760 alberi e 900.000 piante sempreverdi, Zaryadye Park ospita ediici pubblici tra cui un teatro, un cinema e una piattaforma panoramica che afaccia sulla Moscova.

An example of wild urbanism covering 130,000 square meters, the park reproduces Russia’s four climate zones: tundra, steppe, swamp and forest. The project was designed by New York architects Diller Scoidio + Renfro Studio, creators of the High Line in Manhattan. In addition to 760 trees and 900,000 evergreen plants, the park houses public buildings including a theater and cinema, and a panoramic terrace overlooking the Moscova.

Ci sono tanti nuovi pezzi del repertorio classico e contemporaneo e tante nuove idee sviluppate nel corso dei mesi... Danza con me non è solo una serata ricca di grande danza, è un programma divertente e ironico. La preparazione, particolarmente lunga e impegnativa, non riguarda solo le parti di balletto, ma tutte le sinergie e gli sketch di cui abbiamo co-

stellato lo spettacolo, frutto di una lunga riﬂessione, di idee scritte su foglietti in viaggio tra una tappa e l’altra dei tour, di riunioni e tante prove». Dopo La mia danza libera, Danza con me… quale messaggio vogliono trasmettere i suoi spettacoli in TV? «L’idea che sottende ogni mia iniziativa: allargare il pubblico della danza, emozionare e coinvolgere platee sempre più ampie… Lo strumento per fare tutto ciò è la forza delle emozioni e dello stupore che la danza sa scatenare e una grande dose di ironia che spalmiamo in tutto il programma». In particolare il pubblico giovane apprezza queste interazioni e trovo sia un bel modo, molto stimolante, di immergere sempre più la danza nella contemporaneità, senza snaturarla, ma potenziandone forza e bellezza, grazie all’incredibile impatto visivo. The result of «dedication and sacrifice», it is the work of continued inspiration and the idea of bringing people closer to the world of ballet Étoile, Principal Dancer and new frontiers to reach with his TV shows and on stages throughout the world. Bolle is relentless and full of ideas that he writes on bits of paper. So much perfection lives side by side with a little secret: «I’m messy». The season is opening with a show dedicated to dance, how do you get ready for an event like that? «The preparation is long - it started over a year ago. There are lots of new pieces from the classical and contemporary repertoire on the bill, as well as new ideas developed over the months… Danza con me (Dance With Me) isn’t just full of great dance, it’s fun and ironic too. The particularly long and demanding preparation isn’t just for the ballet parts, but all the teamwork and sketches that ill the show. It’s the result of long relection, of ideas jotted on bits of paper while travelling

Danza Con Me follows La mia danza Libera… what message do you want to convey with your TV shows? «The idea behind all of my projects is to enlarge dance audiences, to excite and engage more and more people… the way to do that is through the strength of emotion and wonder that dance is able to trigger, as well as a big dose of irony, spread throughout the show». What kind of contribution does a creative director like Michael Cotten give? «A huge contribution! He’s the man behind massive American events like the SuperBowl or live Michael Jackson concerts like “This is It”. Danza con me is the irst Italian program he’s collaborated with me on, and it’s a great honor. Talking, working and creating alongside him has deinitely been an unprecedented moment of personal artistic growth». “Live and feel the emotion”. Ma per Bolle qual è l’emozione più grande che prova mentre danza e quella che a sua volta la danza le regala? «La passione che non mi abbandona da quando ero un bambino».

Ho un rapporto strettissimo non solo con i colleghi, ma con tutti coloro che lavorano in Teatro. Forte è il legame afettivo e sentimentale. L’American Ballet di New York, di cui sono Principal Dancer da dieci anni ormai, è una realtà estremamente competitiva che mi serve per essere sempre al centro della scena internazionale e spingermi ogni volta oltre i miei limiti». E il pubblico che l’ha preoccupata di più durante l’esibizione? «Il pubblico nella sua interezza per me è come una persona sola,

Dobbiamo lavorare per raggiungere posizioni e movimenti innaturali per il corpo umano, sfidando continuamente i nostri limiti. Il lavoro richiesto è immane per cui devi sacrificare molta parte del tuo tempo libero. Non si possono raggiungere certi livelli senza una vera passione alle spalle».

E dopo tanti anni, subentra un po’ di “monotonia”? «Mai. Vivo continuamente di nuovi stimoli. Anche quando afronto ruoli già interpretati, lo faccio con una consapevolezza umana e artistica che si rinnova ogni volta». Da Nureyev, Baryshnikov, Paganini, ino a lei: gli uomini hanno fatto la storia di questa disciplina, ma è ancora diicile per i bambini intraprendere questa formazione? «Non è più così. Oggi le Accademie di danza sono piene di giovani ballerini. Quando ho iniziato io c’era una forte disparità numerica, ma oggi la percezione della igura del ballerino è molto cambiata per fortuna». Si è mai sentito un Billy Elliot? «No. Sono sempre stato supportato dalla mia famiglia, in ogni momento della carriera, soprattutto in quelli più diicili». Lei ha creato un’immagine forte intorno a sé, quasi a rendere più “pop” un’arte classica, come c’è riuscito?

To reach your standard of performance how would you describe your work over the years? «It’s hard and relentless work that requires dedication and sacriice. We need to work hard to reach positions and unnatural movements of the human body, always challenging our limits. It requires mammoth efort and you need to sacriice a lot of free

When I started there were more girls than boys, but today the igure of the male ballet dancer has changed a lot, thank God». Have you ever felt like Billy Elliot? «No, I haven’t, my family have supported me in every step of my career, especially the hardest ones». You’ve created a strong image around yourself, as though you wanted to make a classical art more “pop”. How did you succeed? «I’ve always been open to the world. Thanks to traditional media and social networks, I’ve tried to come into contact with people through a contemporary language». You travel a lot for work - what’s your favourite holiday destination? «The sea, always the sea». Tell us something about yourself that we don’t know… «Did I mention I’m messy?». a cucina italiana è famosa in tutto il mondo per la sua qualità e per l’incredibile varietà. Ogni regione ha le sue specialità e la Sicilia non è da meno. Ogni angolo dell’isola, da Nord a Sud, da Ovest a Est ha un suo piatto o un vino da assaggiare, da scoprire insieme alle tante bellezze che la rendono una regione unica al mondo. Dei tempi degli Elimi, dei Siculi e dei Sicani, le popolazioni che si dividevano l’isola nell’era antica, sono rimasti in eredità i campanilismi, anche sul cibo e sulle bevande. Persino l’arancino (o arancina) è oggetto di disputa tra i siciliani “orientali” e quelli “occidentali”. Questi ultimi preferiscono il termine arancina, gli altri scelgono il genere maschile. Ma la diferenza non è solo nella terminologia da utilizzare. L’arancino infatti ha una forma tondeggiante, mentre l’arancina è più appuntita, a forma conica, quasi a ricordare l’Etna, che sovrasta dall’alto dei suoi 3300 metri la piana di Catania e la Sicilia orientale tutta. E proprio nella città ediicata all’ombra del vulcano è nato uno dei piatti più noti dell’isola, la pasta alla Norma. Un piatto di maccheroni (solitamente) condito con pomodoro e con l’aggiunta successiva di melanzane fritte, ricotta salata e basilico davanti al quale Nino Martoglio, commediografo catanese vissuto tra ine ’800 e inizio ’900, esclamò: “Chista è na vera Norma!” paragonando la bontà di ciò che aveva appena assaggiato alla celebre opera di Vincenzo Bellini, altro catanese, tra gli operisti più celebri del XIX secolo. A lui la città di Catania ha dedicato un teatro considerato con l’acustica migliore del mondo, inaugurato nel 1890 proprio con la Norma, e l’aeroporto di Fontanarossa, destinazione Blue Air in Sicilia. La vicinanza dello scalo a Catania è un’occasione imperdibile per visitare il centro storico dove si fondono il vecchio spirito barocco e la bellezza dei palazzi del Municipio e del palazzo dei Chierici, costruiti intorno al monumento simbolo, la Fontana dell’Elefante. Sul versante occidentale dell’Etna viene prodotto il cosiddetto oro verde della Sicilia, il pistac-

chio di Bronte, riconosciuto Dop dal 2009. Coltivato su terreno vulcanico, ha reso famosa la cittadina siciliana costruita sulle pendici del vulcano attivo più alto d’Europa. Bronte conserva ancora oggi alcune testimonianze della sua storia ultrasecolare, dalle chiese di San Blandano, del Sacro Cuore a Casa Radice e Collegio Capizzi, ino al Castello di Nelson, intitolato al celebre ammiraglio britannico. Leggenda vuole invece che a Caltanissetta, centro geograico dell’isola, siano nate altre due gustose specialità siciliane, il rollò, un rotolo di pan di spagna al cioccolato farcito di ricotta, e il cannolo. Il capoluogo nisseno conserva all’interno del suo territorio diverse aree archeologiche, chiese interessanti, le rovine dell’antica fortezza, nota come Castello di Pietrarossa, che ha dato il nome alla città e palazzi di interesse storico. A circa 50 km si trova Piazza Armerina, famosa per i suoi splendidi mosaici. Il tour nella Sicilia orientale si può concludere a Noto, la capitale del barocco dell’isola, ricostruita dopo il terremoto del 1693 da grandi architetti che l’hanno resa un autentico gioiellino oggi patrimonio Unesco, dove si può assaggiare un ottimo vino prodotto da uva di Nero d’Avola, la cui coltivazione ha avuto origine proprio qui. Palermo, riconosciuta come la capitale mondiale dello street food. I motivi sono tanti, ognuno con un nome speciico: il pane “ca meusa” (cioè con la milza), lo sincione (pane pizza con salsa a base di pomodoro, cipolla, acciughe e origano con pezzi di formaggio tipico), le panelle (frittelle di farina di ceci), le stigghiole (budella di agnello solitamente). Il panino con la milza lo si può gustare nei mercati cittadini, assolutamente da vedere, come Vucciria e Ballarò, mentre per lo sincione più originale bisogna andare dalle parti di Porta Sant’Agata, nel centro storico, e approittarne per visitare i monumenti più importanti di Palermo: la Fontana Pretoria, Palazzo Normanni, il Teatro Massimo e la piazza ottagonale denominata Quattro Canti. La cultura araba ha lasciato in eredità ai siciliani anche qualcosa nel piatto. L’esempio più eclatante è il cous cous di pesce alla trapanese che vede in San Vito Lo Capo il suo centro di gravità permanente, per citare un artista di questa terra. Nella località balneare della Sicilia nord-occidentale si ritrovano a settembre chef provenienti da tutto il mondo che preparano questo piatto per il Cous Cous Fest. Da

Close to Catania, it’s a great opportunity to visit the historic center where the spirit of old Baroque blends with the beauty of the Town Hall and the Palazzo Chierici, which are built around the city’s symbolic monument, the Elephant Fountain. Sicily’s so-called “green gold” – the Bronte pistachio - is produced to the west of Mount Etna and has been recognized as a DOP-certiied product since 2009. Cultivated on volcanic terrain, it has made the Sicilian town famous. It sits atop the slopes of the highest active volcano in Europe and to this day bears witness to its ultra-ancient history with the churches of San Blandano, the Sacred Heart, the Casa Radice, Collegio Capizzi and Nelson Castle, named after the famous British admiral. Legend has it that in Caltanissetta, the geographical center of the island, two other tasty Sicilian specialties were born: “Il Rollò” - a roll of chocolate sponge illed with ricotta, and the “cannolo”. The capital of Nisseno is home to archaeological sites, interesting churches, “palazzi” of historical interest, and the ruins of the ancient fortress known as Pietrarossa Castle, which gave its name to the city. Piazza Armerina - famous for its beautiful mosaics - is around 50km away. Wrap up your tour of eastern Sicily in Noto, the island’s baroque capital. Leading architects rebuilt it after the earthquake of 1693, rendering it an authentic UNESCO heritage-listed jewel where you can sample the superb Nero d’Avola wine, the grapes of which are cultivated around Noto. San Vito Lo Capo scendendo verso Trapani, è d’obbligo una sosta a Erice, borgo dall’antico fascino eretto su un monte, per assaggiare le “minne”, un dolce di mandorle e limone tipico del posto così chiamato perché la forma ricorda quella del seno di una donna. E dopo il dolce, ci vuole qualcosa per digerire. Le tappe sono due: Marsala e Pantelleria. Nella prima, dove si produce l’omonimo vino liquoroso, si può ammirare uno dei tramonti più belli dell’intera Sicilia, precisamente sullo Stagnone, una laguna diventata riserva naturale e scelta, tramite un concorso indetto da Expo e Fai, come luogo del cuore degli italiani in occasione dell’Esposizione Mondiale di Milano; assolutamente da visitare anche il centro storico, le aree archeologiche e gli stabilimenti vinicoli. Chi ama il vino dolce, ottimo abbinamento con il dessert, deve salpare dal porto di Trapani o di Mazara del Vallo e navigare verso Pantelleria per assaggiare il celebre Passito, prodotto esclusivamente nell’isola situata a poche decine di km dalla costa tunisina e visitare aree naturali, siti archeologici e monumenti, aiutati da un clima che, vista la collocazione geograica, risulta gradevole anche in questo periodo dell’anno.

Arab culture has also left its mark on Sicilian cuisine. The most striking example is the Trapanese ish cous-cous, “whose permanent centre of gravity” is in San Vito Lo Capo, to quote a famous artist of the region, Franco Battiato who wrote the song “Centro di gravità permanente”. In September, in the northwestern seaside resort, chefs from all over the world prepare the dish for the Cous Cous Fest. From San Vito Lo Capo down to Trapani, a stop at Erice is a must. In this ancient mountain-top hamlet you’ll ind “minne”, a typical almond and lemon dessert resembling a woman’s bust (hence the name). After dessert, you’ll need a drop of “Marsala” or “Pantelleria” to digest. In Marsala - where the homemade liqueurwine is produced - you’ll ind one of the most beautiful sunsets in Sicily, namely on the Stagnone lagoon. A natural reserve, it was chosen as a “Luogo del Coure” (place of heart) by Expo and the Italian environmental organization FAI at the World Expo in Milan. A visit to Marsala’s historical center, archaeological areas and vineyards is also worthwhile. Fans of sweet wine - a great match with dessert - should set sail from the ports of Trapani or Mazara del Vallo to Pantelleria. Home of the famous “Passito”, the drink is produced exclusively on the island. Located a little over 10km from the Tunisian coast, Pantelleria boasts natural areas, archaeological sites and monuments, which you can visit even now thanks to the island’s geographical location and yearround pleasant climate.

TRA ARTE E STORIA La capitale romena non è solo la terra di Dracula, ma una città viva in cui si respirano bellezza e vita. La “piccola Parigi” ha cambiato aspetto nel secolo scorso mantenendo il legame con il passato di Marco Nardone

’immagine che la letteratura ci ha regalato della Romania è il dipinto di una terra misteriosa e gotica, tra nebbia, castelli e personaggi notturni. Si parla, ovviamente, di ciò che Bram Stoker ha descritto nel suo Dracula, il romanzo che più di tutti ha contribuito ad avvolgere nel fascino questo mondo dell’Est Europa. Ma la sua capitale racconta un’altra storia. Bucarest è soprannominata “la piccola Parigi” per la bellezza e la ricchezza dei suoi monumenti e dei suoi ediici, ma soprattutto per l’aura culturale e intellettuale che si percepisce passeggiando per le sue strade. Le antiche leggende narrano che il suo fondatore sia stato il pastore Bucur, che incantava le folle con il suo lauto e il suo vino, e da cui deriva il nome della città. Dalle sue origini ad oggi Bucarest è molto cambiata, soprattutto nel XX secolo, dopo la Seconda Guerra Mondiale e con l’incremento del turismo internazionale. Oggi è una destinazione per giovani che amano divertirsi, con centinaia di club, cafè, parchi, un co-

Una delle attrazioni principali della capitale romena è il Palazzo del Parlamento, famoso per essere il secondo ediicio a scopo amministrativo più grande del mondo per estensione (superato solo dal Pentagono). Destinato ad essere il coronamento del nuovo stile voluto dall’ex leader socialista Ceasescu, è stato completato poco dopo la sua morte e rappresenta uno dei più dispendiosi e sfarzosi progetti nella storia dell’umanità. Altro tipo di architettura, l’Ateneo Romeno è la più prestigiosa sala concerti di Bucarest, nonché uno dei suoi ediici più belli. Costruito nel 1888 dal progetto dell’architetto francesce Albert Galleron, l’Ateneo si presenta con un peristilio retto da sei colonne doriche, che richiamano lo stile dei templi antichi. Sul peristilio cinque medaglioni rafigurano cinque principi romeni. Del diplomatico Constantin Esarcu fu l’idea di inanziare il completamento dell’ediicio con una sotdicembre-gennaio 2018 _ 35

Sempre di Gottereau, architetto del Cotroceni Palace a ine Ottocento, il Palazzo CEC, soprannominato “Petit Palais” per i richiami al suo omonimo parigino, l’ediicio comprende una magniica cupola vetrata che è possibile visitare nonostante oggi il palazzo sia occupato da una banca. Questi sono solo alcuni dei poli attrattivi di Bucarest, una città piena di arte, di storia e di vita.

Although “little Paris” has changed its appearance in the last century, it still maintains its link with the past Books about Romania depict a mysterious and gothic land, strewn with castles, shrouded in fog and peopled by characters of the night. This of course was how Bram Stoker described the country in “Dracula”, the novel that most of all has stoked our fascination of this Eastern European country. But its capital tells another story. Ancient legend tells us that its founder was a shepherd called Bucur who enchanted the crowds with his lute and wine, and from whom the city’s name derives. Today it’s a destination for young people out for a good time, with scores of clubs, cafes, parks, a relatively low cost of living and countless historical, political and artistic attractions. Intended to be the crowning glory of a new style desired by the former socialist leader Ceaușescu, it was completed shortly after his death and represents one of the most costly and lavish projects in human history. Of a diferent architectural style, the Athenaeum is not only the most prestigious concert hall in Bucharest but also one of its most beautiful buildings. Built in 1888 and designed by French architect Albert Galleron, the Athenaeum is typiied by a neoclassical continuous porch – a peristyle – supported by six Doric columns that reference ancient temples. On the peristyle, ive engravings depict ive Romanian princes. The politician Constantin Esarcu initiated funding to enable the completion of the building with the slogan “Daţi un leu pentru Ateneu” (‘Donate a leu’ – Romanian coin – ‘for the Athenaeum’). Today this is still the place to listen to classical music in Bucharest, the resident orchestra being the George Enescu Philharmonic. If you want to discover Romanian rural architecture, then head of to the National Village Museum in Herăstrău Park. One of the most extensive museums of its kind in Europe, it houses some original buildings which were transported in pieces and reassembled on site. The oldest houses date back to the 17th century and are intended to show the architecture of ancient Romanian rural life. In summer the museum hosts various dance and folk music festivals. Speaking of museums, the National Museum of Romanian Art, located in Revolution Square, is housed in a building that dates back to 1820. Formerly the Royal Palace, it was remodeled at the end of the nineteenth century by Paul Gottereau and rebuilt in the 1930s after a ire in 1926. It contains an extensive collection of European and Romanian art from the 15th to the 20th century. Also by Gottereau – architect of the Cotroceni Palace at the end of the nineteenth century – is the CEC Palace, nicknamed “the Petit Palais” in reference to its Parisian namesake. The structure includes a magniicent glass dome, which is open to the public despite the fact that today the building is occupied by a bank. One of the largest islands in the Canary Islands, Gran Canaria is also known as a continent in miniature. Of the seven Canary Islands it is probably the most complete, the island that offers a mixture of each island’s characteristics. The archipelago is divided into two provinces - the west, with Santa Cruz de Tenerife as its provincial capital, and to which the smallest and westernmost of the islands belong - and the eastern islands of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, which are the sandiest and nearest to Africa: Gran Canaria itself, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. Gran Canaria’s wide variety of microclimates (spaced relatively close together) means that as well as an annual average of 24 degrees, a full range of different landscapes characteristic of the islands can be enjoyed: from golden sandy beaches to leafy pine forests and the Laurisilva forests (dating back to the Tertiary Age) through to the lunar landscapes so typical of these volcanic lands and the natural pools. The island is all about surfing, windsurfing, bodyboarding, kitesurfing, scuba diving or sport fishing, with water sports for everyone, everywhere. The city of Las Palmas and the whole island boast a timetable packed with events. The Carnival - starting straight after the Christmas holidays - is the biggest and goes on for more than a month, featuring competitions, fashion shows and festivals. Classical music lovers shouldn’t miss the symphony season which, for more than 30 years, has taken place in January and February in the provincial capitals of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. utto iniziò oltre 100 anni fa quando venne efettuato il primo volo tra il Marocco e la Penisola Iberica, era il 1914 e quel velivolo atterrò nel campo d’aviazione di Tablada. Questo evento convinse le autorità cittadine a cedere un terreno di 240.000 metri quadrati all’Aeronautica Militare per realizzare l’aeroporto di Siviglia, situato oggi a 10 km dal centro. La struttura architettonica, rivista poi nel corso dei decenni, riprende alcuni elementi della cultura andalusa, dall’inluenza araba alle arance, la cui coltivazione è parecchio difusa in questa regione, senza dimenticare la Corona spagnola.

Grazie anche a Blue Air che dal 2017 efettua voli in questo aeroporto; con la nostra compagnia aerea da Siviglia si possono raggiungere alcune città italiane come Bari, Napoli e Torino. Dato l’aumento del traico negli ultimi anni, si sta già lavorando a un importante progetto di rifacimento del terminal con l’obiettivo essenziale di aumentare lo spazio a disposizione e la capacità operativa. ROCÍO PLAYS IT FOR LAUGHS The gorgeous Spanish actress and model launches herself into the world of festive cinema alongside Massimo Boldi in Natale da Chef (A Chef’s Christmas) The Christmas comedy: this typically Italian genre has been made famous by Christian De Sica and Massimo Boldi, who have dominated the Italian box oice for three decades. When the two actors announced their “separation” a few years ago the “Cine-Pannetone” universe (as it’s afectionately dubbed in Italy) went into overdrive, essentially doubling. When De Sica then left the production company “Filmauro” the die was cast and the battle for Christmas box oice positioning heated up with a lurry of movies. How did you react when being asked to star in “Cine-Panettone”? «I’m Spanish – by now Italian – though I have to admit I’d never heard of “Cinepanettone”, so I didn’t have any preconceptions. I knew it was a really light comedy, which is a genre I’d never tried, and that did scare me a little. Then, when I read the script, I said to myself, ‘who cares!’ I had loads of fun, I could mess around with the character, do something crazy and really diferent for me and I can tell you now that I’m really happy with the result. I was really lucky to have been surrounded by genuine princes and kings of slapstick. I wanted to learn from those giants of comedy, I let them lead me». One of those “giants” is of course Massimo Boldi. How was it working with him? «We had a great relationship. We really like each other and I’ve found a fellow actor who still wants to try and ind diferent ways to do things and to have

vare e scoprire cose nuove, di mettersi in gioco e ho trovato un essere umano stupendo, una persona sensibile, profonda e con un grande cuore». Professionalmente, la maternità ti ha cambiata? «Mi sento più donna nella vita e di conseguenza anche sul palcoscenico, essere madre mi ha dato poi la maturità di avere un altro sguardo, un altro approccio al lavoro e ai personaggi». Che tipo di rapporto vivi con l’aeroplano? «Ho iniziato a viaggiare da molto piccola, e a fare lunghi viaggi per lavoro e l’aereo è diventato praticamente una terza casa, la prima è la Spagna, la seconda l’Italia. Amo tantissimo viaggiare e devo dire che sono capace di addormentarmi in qualunque tipo di tragitto, anche per un Roma Milano, 10 minuti di pennichella riesco a farli. Dormo spesso ma l’aereo è anche l’occasione di avere un momento di solitudine, di silenzio, dove studio, leggo e riesco a programmare la mia giornata. È un posto che mi dà la tranquillità di pensare serenamente».

Nothing has energized cinema and television quite like it, creating a cultural mix in which quotes and references have been its force. In December 2015, Episode VII shook the world with the return of Luke Skywalker, Leila Organa, and Hans Solo in the stories of the “distant galaxy far, far away”. Since then, much has changed: J.J. Abrams ilm was harshly criticized for sticking too closely to the mould of “Episode IV – A New Hope”. In December 2016 came Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, one of the ilms set in the movie saga universe, which wasn’t directly linked to the main story line. Of his tour starting December 15, he says: «I’m pumped and can’t wait to go onstage» Three years after his last album, Biagio Antonacci is back with a new disc. Titled Dediche e Manie, it’s a special comeback at a special time, with the new album being released right after his 54th birthday. This time, the Milanese singer-songwriter traded presents for a night celebrating alongside fans: «The dedications are manias that I’ve turned into music. I think we all have our manias, but we should call them ways of living. Being a singersongwriter, dedications and manias live side by side. Sono un curioso che ama conoscere e scoprire nuove evoluzioni “bussando alla porta con educazione”». “Il lusso della semplicità” è la sua ilosoia, lei quale “semplice lusso” si concede? «Il tempo per la mia famiglia, ci sono due piccoli angeli nella mia vita ed è un caos continuo, ma lo adoro». Dopo i temporary, un suo ristorante: ha “ceduto” o “non vedeva l’ora”? «Il Ristorante era nell’aria da tempo. Lo dovevo fare… Dovevo aprire la cucina di “Alessandro Borghese – il lusso della semplicità” a tutti. Voglio trasmettere un’emozione, far felice i miei ospiti».

You need to experiment and respect the ingredients: raw materials play a fundamental role - you need to know about them to understand how to transform them without losing their original nature… Cooking means passion and responsibility: it’s an act of love illed with desire, commitment and professionalism».

E dopo aver immaginato la lettura del menu di Alessandro Borghese «sdraiato con le mani dietro la nuca», cosa prova? «Che ho ancora tanta “fame”!» Lei ha viaggiato tanto, qual è il “sapore” che ha scoperto nei suoi viaggi? «Il sapore della curiosità, voler conoscere e far proprie esperienze, ricette e tradizioni di terre lontane».

La musica è una sua grande passione, quale canzone la rappresenta? «La mia vita è come la musica che ascolto: una combinazione di piacere e malinconia. A me piace ascoltarla in “shule”, libero di passare da un brano blues a una ballata rock, oppure dalla voce di Leonard Cohen al pianoforte di Ezio Bosso. Sicuramente “Kashmir” dei Led Zeppelin è un capolavoro epico a cui sono particolarmente legato».

In your private life do you cook, or prefer to receive this act of love? «The people I love best are at home, so I give the best of me. I cook for my family, for my friends, to experiment with new lavors. But I love being spoilt by my wife, and by one of her dishes». What lesson do you always hold onto and try to pass down? «I’ve had a lot of teachers and I remember something particular about each of them. When I was 22, I worked as an intern in a few kitchens in Paris: I can remember the head chef’s welcome speech really well – it was about humility, study and determination: dicembre-gennaio 2018 _ 69

VIAGGIO NEL GUSTO E quale canzone sceglie per il suo piatto d’eccellenza? «Il genio dell’artista è quello di saper trasformare le piccole emozioni, i piccoli pensieri universali in messaggio personale. Dalla musica alla cucina, da un brano a un piatto. Mi viene in mente: “Only a Fool” dei The Black Crowes: Only a fool would let you go… solo uno sciocco lascerebbe la mia “Cacio e Pepe”!» Mi tolga una curiosità: AB Normal, il nome della sua società, è una citazione da Frankenstein Junior di Mel Brooks? «Certo che lo è! La società “AB Normal – eatertainment company” è nata dopo l’incontro con mia moglie. All’epoca Wilma (Oliverio) lavorava per una multinazionale. Insieme abbiamo deciso di dare progettualità alle mie idee… Mio padre sosteneva che bisogna focalizzare l’obiettivo da raggiungere e migliorare continuamente, studiando e impegnandosi a fondo. Sembra uno slogan, ma non lo è: Si – Può - Fareeee!»

Nella sua normalità chi è Alessandro? «Un rocker!»

Chef, scrittore, conduttore televisivo, giudice, lo trova un po’ di tempo per lei? «Il tempo si può organizzare grazie all’esperienza o alla capacità di organizzazione, i programmi televisivi si registrano in pochi mesi. Gestire una squadra è fondamentale e io lavoro con un incredibile gruppo di professionisti in brigata e in azienda. Niente funzionerebbe senza la collaborazione di altre persone… E poi “Home, Sweet Home” a casa, con le mie “donne”. Per me è importante poter condividere ogni momento libero con loro, spero con questo di lasciare dei ricordi comuni».

What’s the secret ingredient to your cuisine? «Creativity, it’s not something permanent, it’s absolutely free». And in your life? «Humility, maintaining your working identity and at the same time changing and following the changes - that’s my professional philosophy. I’m curious and I love discovering and learning new trends, “knocking politely on the door». “The luxury of simplicity” is your philosophy. What “simple luxury” do you grant yourself? «Time for my family. I have two little angels in my life and it’s permanent chaos, but I love it». After the “temporary” restaurants, you opened your own: did you “give in” or were you “longing for it”? «I’ve had “restaurants” on my mind for quite a while now. I had to do it, I had to open “Alessandro Borghese – il lusso della semplicità” to everyone. I wanted to get that feeling across, to make my guests happy». And after imagining yourself reading Alessandro Borghese’s menu “lying down with your hands behind your neck”, how do you feel? «I’m still hungry!». You’ve travelled a lot, what have you discovered a “taste for” along the way? «The taste of curiosity, the desire to disco-

Music is a great passion of yours - which song most represents you? «My life is like the music I listen to: a combination of pleasure and melancholy. I like listening to my music on “shule”, going from blues to rock, or from Leonard Cohen to Ezio Bosso’s piano. Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir” is one masterpiece I’m really attached to». What song would you choose for your stand-out dish? «An artist’s genius is being able to turn small emotions, small universal thoughts into a personal message. From music to cuisine, from a song to a dish. I think of “Only a Fool” by The Black Crowes. Only a fool would let you go… and would let my “Cacio e Pepe” go?!».

Calamaro delle 5

Ingredienti per 4 persone 4 calamari grandi 1 spicchio d’aglio 1 mazzetto di prezzemolo 8 capperi 120 g pancarré 20 g pecorino romano grattugiato Vino bianco q.b. 4 carote 2 bustine di tè verde Olio EVO q.b. Sale q.b. Pepe q.b. Basilico Timo Fiori di peperoncino

Ingredients for 4 people 4 large squid 1 clove of garlic 1 bunch of parsley 8 capers 120g pancarré 20g of grated Pecorino Romano cheese White wine to taste 4 carrots 2 green tea bags Extra Virgin Olive oil to taste Salt to taste Pepper to taste Basil Thyme Chili lowers

Preparazione Pelare le carote e tagliarle a tocchetti, metterle in un pentolino con acqua salata e portare a ebollizione. Per il ripieno dei calamari tagliare a pezzetti i tentacoli e cuocerli in padella con olio evo, uno spicchio d’aglio schiacciato, capperi e prezzemolo tritato. Aggiustare di sale e di pepe e sfumare con vino bianco. In una ciotola spezzettare le fette di pancarré, aggiungere il pecorino romano grattugiato e i tentacoli spadellati, eliminando l’aglio e mescolare il tutto per amalgamarlo. Riempire una sac à poche e farcire i calamari richiudendoli con degli stuzzicadenti. Far rosolare i calamari ripieni in padella con un ilo d’olio evo, poi posarli in una teglia foderata di carta forno, condirli con olio evo e pepe e cuocere in forno a 180°C per 15 minuti. Quando le carote saranno tenere, immergere nella loro acqua le bustine di tè verde e lasciare in infusione per 30 minuti. Frullare le carote e il tè verde in parti uguali ino a ottenere un purè. Impiattare una fetta di calamaro ripieno su una base di purè di carote e tè verde. Decorare con timo, basilico, iori di peperoncino e concludere con un giro d’olio evo e una grattata di pepe.

Preparation Peel the carrots and cut them into small pieces, then put them in a saucepan with salted water and bring to the boil. To ill the calamari, cut the tentacles into pieces and cook them in a pan with extra virgin olive oil, a clove of crushed garlic, the capers and chopped parsley. Adjust salt and pepper and douse with white wine. In a bowl chop the pancarré slices, add the grated pecorino and the chopped tentacles, remove the garlic and mix it all together. Fill the pastry bag and stuff the squid, closing them with toothpicks. Pan-fry the stuffed squid in a little olive oil then put on an oven tray lined with oven paper, sprinkle with olive oil and pepper and bake in the oven at 180 ° C for 15 minutes. When the carrots are cooked, immerse the green tea bags in the carrot water and leave to infuse for 30 minutes. Blend the carrots and green tea in equal parts until you get a mash. Lay a slice of stuffed squid on a base of carrot juice and green tea. Garnish with thyme, basil and chili lowers and inish with a twist of olive oil and black pepper.

Just out of curiosity, is AB Normal the name of your company - a quote from Mel Brooks’ Frankenstein Junior? «Of course it is! The “AB Normal – eatertainment company” was created after I met my wife. At the time, Wilma (Oliverio) was working for a multinational company. Together we decided to turn my ideas into a business… My dad used to say we needed to keep our eyes on the prize and to keep on improving, studying and fully committing. It sounds like a slogan, but it’s not: It – Can – Work!». Who is Alessandro in his private life? «He’s a rocker!». Chef, writer, TV presenter, judge… when do you ind time for yourself? «You can manage your time thanks to experience and the ability to organize: it takes a few months to shoot TV shows. Managing a team is fundamental and I work alongside an incredible group of professionals both in the kitchen and in my company. Nothing would work without the help of other people. Then it’s “Home, Sweet Home” and I go home, with my “ladies”. It’s important to me that I share every bit of free moment I have with them, I hope to leave behind some shared memories». If you were a dish or an ingredient, what would you be? «To quote my wife: a fried gnocco!». What wine relects you? «White in summer, red in winter, and bubbly all year round!».

Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sport e gli scooter hanno un peso importantissimo nella mobilità giornaliera nelle città di tutto il Mondo, la passione è verso le moto, funzionali anche nei percorsi cittadini ma da sempre sinonimo di libertà e compagne di avventure epiche per chi ne è appassionato. A Milano, a novembre, si è tenuto il Salone EICMA, la manifestazione più importante al mondo dove tutti i costruttori hanno presentato le loro novità per la prossima stagione. Diicile quindi presentarvele tutte, ma è corretto fare un punto su quelle che per noi sono quelle più signiicative. La “lotta” in questo settore resta sempre tra produttori europei e giapponesi, che si sidano su diversi modelli anche se naked e viaggiatrici restano le due ruote più vendute. ri italiani tra le tante novità va segnalata la nuova Ducati che monta il rivoluzionario motore V4. Un passaggio epocale per la casa di Borgo Panigale che per le sue supersportive stradali attinge il propulsore dalla Moto GP. La nuova Panigale V4 monta quindi un propulsore Desmosedici Stradale a V4 di 90° capace di una potenza di 214 CV nella versione base. Nuovo anche il propulsore della Moto Guzzi V85, un motore bicilindrico di 850 cc dall’imprescindibile architettura a V trasversale di 90°. Un’unità rafreddata ad aria, completamente riprogettata, capace di esprimere la potenza massima di 80 CV. La moto presentata a Milano era un concept ma molto fedele a quella che vedremo entro il 2021, anniversario dei 100 anni della casa dell’Aquila. European and Japanese manufacturers, who do battle with diferent models, despite “naked” bikes and “adventure bikes” being the continual best-sellers. Plenty of modern-classic or retro models were showcased at the EICMA, a sign that fashion is also inluencing the world of motorbikes. Of the many new products from Italian manufacturers, the new Ducati will be itted with a revolutionary V4 engine. In what is a huge step for Ducati, they’ve itted their supersport road bikes with Moto GP propulsion. The new Panigale V4 is equipped with a 90 ° Desmosedici Powertrain V4 engine capable of 214 hp in its basic version. Also new, the Moto Guzzi V85 is powered by a new revised version of the 850cc twin-cylinder 90 ° V. This completely redesigned air-cooled unit is capable of delivering a maximum output of 80 hp. It’s been redesigned, but above all, is equipped with a new better-performing twin-cylinder 853 cm3 engine capable of delivering 77 hp, as well as plenty of improvements in riding and electronics, including active safety systems. Meanwhile, Japanese bike manufacturers have launched a variety of classic and decisively cutting-edge models. Of these, the three-wheel Yamaha Niken stands out; courtesy of its Leaning Multi-Wheeler (LMW) technology, it features a level of traction that would be unimaginable on two wheels, giving huge stability when cornering on a lean angle extended to up to 45°. Equipped with a MT-09 engine and a hybrid chassis, the area of the cast steering head is made from steel and the swing-arm pivot area is in aluminum. The main frame that connects the parts is made with steel tubes, and it features a dual-tube upside down front fork. At the moment it’s just a prototype but we’ll soon be seeing the Africa Twin Adventure Sport on our streets. This new version from the legendary Honda has been conceived for travel lovers, and difers from the basic model by way of its enlarged tank, side protections and new dampening for of-road driving.
