COMING THIS OCTOBER MONTH
BETHEL NEWS WEEK OF PRAYER A principle of Scripture is when you give God the first, He blesses the rest. Each year at Bethel, we begin the start of the New Year with a designated time of prayer and fasting. This year 2020, we will have a week of prayer from Monday December 30th to Friday January 3rd. Each day the church will be open for prayer from 12Noon to 1PM, and then again at 6PM to 7PM. On Friday, January 3rd we will have an all-night prayer from 6PM to 12Midnight.
WATER BAPTISM If you desire to be Water Baptized, we are having a Water Baptism service on Sunday, February 2nd in the 10:30AM service. Please speak to Darwin & Angela Armstrong, one of the Pastors, or contact the church office to sign-up.
MEMBERSHIP CLASS Would you like to become an official member at Bethel? Are you interested in learning more about our church? A membership class will be held on Sunday, January 19th following the Sunday morning service. A complimentary lunch will be included as part of this class. Please sign-up on our website, at the Connect Desk, or call the church office.
WATOTO CHOIR HOMEOPENERS
COMING IN 2018
The Watoto Children’s Choir from Kampala, Uganda will be with us on Friday, January 24th for an evening concert. We are in need of host homes to accommodate an adult leader and two children from the choir for the Friday night, as well as provide breakfast and a bag lunch for Saturday. This will be a real blessing to have in your home! Please contact the church office if you are able to assist.
ELDER BOARD NOMINATIONS Official members of Bethel can nominate members to serve on the Elder Board of Directors for 2020. Nomination forms are available at the Giving Kiosk and must be submitted by Sunday, January 19th. Our Annual Business meeting is planned for Sunday, March 1st following the morning service.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY NURSERY There is a volunteer staffed Nursery open for babies 0-2years (down main floor hallway). There is a room for nursing mothers located in the Nursery. A note for parents: We welcome parents in our nursery; please feel free to use the nursery if your child becomes fussy during the service. We live stream the service into the nursery so you can still enjoy the service while staying with your child.
TODDLER 2-4years are welcome in our Toddler class (upstairs). We play, sing songs, read a story, eat a snack and make a craft.
PRESCHOOL JK and SK children are welcome in our Preschool class (upstairs). In January we will be covering the book of Genesis.
ELEMENTARY Grades 1-5 are welcome in our Elementary class (upstairs). This month we are learning about Creation, Adam & Eve, Cain and Abel.
STUDENT MINISTRY RESCUE - WEDNESDAY NIGHTS 6-7:30PM

Rescue is our program for grades 5-8. Rescue exists to create a fun place for pre-teens to learn about God and build relationships. You can look us up on Facebook by searching Rescue @ Bethel Sarnia (group).
REVO - THURSDAY NIGHTS 7-9PM Revo is our high school program that is geared toward grades 8-12. We meet on Thursday nights from 7-9PM. Revo is a great place for students to belong to a youth group family while growing in their relationship with God.
