COMING THIS OCTOBER MONTH
BETHEL NEWS WATER BAPTISM If you desire to be Water Baptized, we are having a Water Baptism service on Sunday, February 2nd in our morning service. Please speak to Darwin & Angela Armstrong, one of the Pastors, or contact the church office to sign-up.
ANNUAL MEMBERS MEETING If you are an official member at Bethel, our annual members meeting is happening on Sunday, March 1st following the morning service. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend this important meeting.
SUNDAY NIGHT FEBRUARY 16TH We will not be having a Sunday night service on February 16th but will instead be having our a Family Skate (4PM-5PM) followed by a pizza social (at Bethel) on Monday, February 17th. Please note that this year we will be at Sarnia Arena for the Family Skate.
GLUTEN FREE COMMUNION
COMING IN 2018
We have become aware that there is a number of people in our church who have gluten sensitivity issues. In a desire to be a blessing to them and to make things simple, Bethel will now be serving gluten-free Communion wafers.
NEED A RIDE TO CHURCH Bethel does offer transportation to and from your home on Sunday mornings. To arrange a ride, just call the church office before 8:30AM on Sunday morning and follow the instructions to leave a message for van pickup.
JOIN THE TECH TEAM We are in need of volunteer help in our tech/ media department. If you have an interest in video, operation cameras, audio, lyrics, please speak to Cayden Gibb or contact the church office. No experience necessary. We will train new volunteers.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY NURSERY There is a volunteer staffed Nursery open for babies 0-2years (down main floor hallway). There is a room for nursing mothers located in the Nursery. A note for parents: We welcome parents in our Nursery; please feel free to use the Nursery if your child becomes fussy during the service. We live stream the service into the Nursery so you can still enjoy the service while staying with your child.
TODDLER 2-3 years are welcome in our Toddler class (upstairs). We play, sing songs, read a story, eat a snack and make a craft.
PRESCHOOL JK and SK children are welcome in our Preschool class (upstairs). In February we will be covering the book of Genesis.
ELEMENTARY Grades 1-5 are welcome in our Elementary class (upstairs). We are going through Genesis, learning about the Tower of Babel, Abraham, God’s Promise to Abraham, and Ishmael.
STUDENT MINISTRY RESCUE - WEDNESDAY NIGHTS 6-7:30PM
COMING IN 2018
Rescue is our program for grades 5-8. Rescue exists to create a fun place for pre-teens to learn about God and build relationships. You can look us up on Facebook by searching Rescue @ Bethel Sarnia (group).
REVO - THURSDAY NIGHTS 7-9PM Revo is our high school program that is geared toward grades 8-12. We meet on Thursday nights from 7-9PM. YOUNG ADULTS - MONDAY NIGHTS 6PM This 20something group meets on Monday nights at 6PM at the home of Dave & Gwen Bette 520 Glen Abbey Drive, Sarnia (519-383-6035).
