Nel programmare ogni singola tappa si dovrà tenere conto di alcuni fattori determinanti: When planning each single leg, some decisive factors must be taken into account:

Una sosta pranzo invece abbatte drasticamente la media della velocità di percorrenza, per cui se siete intenzionati a tenere le gambe sotto a un tavolo per l'ora di pranzo, oltre a preoccuparvi di avere sul percorso un luogo per poterlo fare, dovrete anche ridurre notevolmente la tappa giornaliera. Personalmente sconsiglio il pranzo in trattoria in viaggio, oltre che per i vincoli sopra menzionati, anche per problemi dovuti alla digestione, che rallenta i riflessi per l'eccessivo apporto di sangue allo stomaco, con conseguente deficit di afflusso di sangue al cervello. Consiglio invece numerosi spuntini a base di frutta, frutta secca e disidratata, parmigiano, e magari un panino per sostituire un pasto più corposo, il tutto su più soste durante l'itinerario. Ve ne sono molte in commercio, dedicate a quasi tutti i modelli di smartphone. Il mio consiglio é comunque quello di non utilizzare il vostro preziosissimo telefono per questo utilizzo che lo metterebbe a rischio, ma di acquistare un vecchio smartphone usato con una dimebsione di schermo decente (almeno 4") da dedicare a questa funzione. Se non esiste una cover dedicata a quel modello, potrete sempre utilizzarne una fatta per un apparato di maggiori dimensioni.
