The Cass County Music Festival was held at Beardstown High School on Wednesday Oct 20, 2010. This annual event joins the junior high band members from A-C Central, Beardstown, Our Saviors and Virginia. The groups prepare several selections and then come together to prepare a concert for the public that evening. The band was under the direction of Mr. Dave Helm who is currently the director of bands at Mt. Pulaski. Mr. Helm worked with the students on the following selections: Fighting Falcon March by Todd Stalter The Lightning Sprit by Ronald Barrett Brass in the Basement by Larry Neeck Music from Grease arranged by Johnnie Vinson
The mass band presented a concert to a capacity crown at 7 PM. The band members did a great job under the direction of Mr. Helm and gave a wonderful concert!
