A word from the congress committee president It is indeed my great pleasure to invite you to our fast approaching AIESEC AFROXLDS 2015 Conference to be held in Kenya after 10 years! This is very exciting to us seeing that we are hosting the NEXT GENERATION of world-class leaders from AFRICA in our beautiful country Kenya. Nyambura It is my humble duty to communicate some of our expectations from this annual event. We anticipate full positive participation from the delegates as we forge the way forward towards a greater, safer, more productive and united Africa. It is said that Africa is the sleeping giant, and the onus is upon us to awaken it. This is possible because we are the future of our great continent. The decisions we make will shape the course of Africa, but again, these decisions will need action plans and execution to bring the changes we need. This is our time to act. Let us prepare to give our all to Africa through the AIESEC Experience. Karibuni Kenya! 5

Travel /Health Insurance It is MANDATORY that as you travel to Kenya; make sure you have travel/health insurance. Just in case an accident happens or an emergency occurs, a health insurance will be of help. The validity of travel/health insurances depends on your country as not all insurance companies are recognised in Kenya. Thus, kindly consult with the respective Kenyan Embassy to be guided effectively.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please make sure you are clear about how your insurance cover works. For some covers, if by any chance you need to go to hospital, you will need to pay the bills yourself and collect the receipts, and upon returning to your country your insurance company should reimburse you. Also please note that most hospitals charge a fee before admitting patients. Kindly ensure you have a way of obtaining a significant amount of money for any emergencies. Alternatively, International SOS (an AIESEC International partner) could pay the bill for you and then get reimbursed by the hospital. This might not work as quickly in emergencies and should only be used as a last resort.
