After a couple of years, AIESEC in Kenya making a comeback! Last held in 12.13, MC Volkeno is taking the bold and fearless decision to bring this great event back to life! This dinner shall bring together high achieving alumni of AIESEC in Kenya, high profile board members of entities and the national office together with the MC Volkeno and other current top leaders of AIESEC in Kenya. Sounds big right? Yes, is bound to be phenomenal and for this a super OC is required to organize the AIESEC in Kenya dinner 2017. Hear the call for the team of fearless, energetic, innovative and passionate individuals that shall be behind the logistical success of this great day in April 2017. Kick off your new year by being among these individuals that will make it to the Dinner OC. This will be an experience packed with challenges that will help you develop key leadership qualities, working closely with the MC and leaving a legacy of being the team that brought back AIESEC Kenya dinner with great success.

Be keen on what is expected of you in the role you wish to hold. Availability requirements are also very key, pay attention to this. Give your best in the application process as your application will determine whether you shall be shortlisted for the next stage or not. This application package consists of OC job descriptions and application questions. Answer ALL questions under ‘The Personal section, ‘General Questions’ and ‘You in the OC’. Answer only the questions under the specific role you are applying for under the Role-related questions section. For support/ teamster roles, applicants should answer the questions under the OCVP function that they wish to support The roles are open for all members of AIESEC in Kenya and internationals as long as they can be available as needed by the role. The OC team is expected to be physically present in Nairobi to work in the months January until early May when the OC shall be discharged upon submission and approval of the event report by the MC. Ensure that your schedule allows for this commitment before you apply. All OC members must be present for the OC training and team day. Creativity is highly encouraged in your application. The application should be in PDF, font size 14 or 16 and containing folder should be named in the format AKDinner2017_Role_Name. Job Description

• Smartly play a role in selecting the OC team from pool of applicants during reviews conducted by MC responsible • Ensure all OC team members understand the vision and purpose of the team in making the dinner a success. • Co-ordinate synergy in the team for achievement of results • Ensure upholding of all team standards throughout the OC duration. • Managing and tracking the OC team to deliver results. • Create the team action plan with the team • Develop strategies that will guarantee a successful dinner. • Set timelines and deliverables for the team. • Ensure compliance of team to the created action plan. • Track expenditures and incomes together with OC finance responsible to ensure no losses are incurred • Mobilize and delegate OC duties beyond the role as may be required with guidance from project manager • Submit weekly OC report • Submit event report after the dinner. • Liaise and co-operate with MC project managers and entire MC • Any other duties as may be assigned by the project manager and MC

Job Description • Creation, identification and tracking of pool of companies to be approached for monetary and in kind sponsorship • Create content and write up of sponsorship/partnerships proposals with guidance of MCVP Partnerships • Design table packages for alumni and BOA for sale • Sign strategic partners for both monetary and in-kind support for the event to ensure no losses • Partner servicing • Ensure external support for most expenses • Liaise and co-operate with MCVP Partnerships • Consciously delegate and track OC VP ER teamsters • Perform any other duty as may be assigned by project manager and MC

• Create and develop effective marketing strategies • Create a unique registration link and ensure a high number of sign ups • Design guest mailer, AK dinner template and any other material • Create and manage guest data sheet • Responsible for shortlisting of delegates/guests together with MC • In-charge of conversion of leads from registration to ensure high attendance at the event • Research on customer attraction and satisfaction points • Ensure brand alignment • Ensure online engagement of delegates/guests and build momentum for the dinner before the event • Promote dinner within AIESEC membership and alumni network regionally • Responsible for all video and photographic coverage of the event including an outstanding red carpet arrangement • Liaise and co-operate with MC Digital Experience manager • Perform any other duty as may be assigned by the project manager and MC

Job Description

• Responsible for re-searching, identifying and securing an appropriate and cost effective venue and logistics within the first 3 weeks • Planning ,coordination and transport of all stakeholders and equipment during the entire period • Ensure all the equipment and logistical matters at the site are up to par and secured latest a month before the dinner and at the dinner • Conduct site visits to highly potential venues identified • Liaise with OCP and OCVP FLA on creation of MoU and ensure signing of the MoU with venue hotel at least a month before the dinner • Key communication channel between the hotel and the OC • Develop the budget and ensure constant tracking of all finances and proof of all payments • Periodical financial reports and updates to MC VP FLA • Manage funds as and when acquired by ER • Co-ordinate and track payment of dinner fee • Responsible for OC financial decision making in collaboration with OCP • Draft MoU for all partnerships and contracts in collaboration with OCVP ER and upon approval by MCVP Partnerships • Draft OC contracts • Liaise and co-operate with MC VP FLA • Any other duty as may be assigned by the project manager and MC
