DECEMBER 2014 MERRY CHRISTMAS The Great British Care Awards 2014. On Friday the 21st November, some of the Ashmere staff were lucky enough to attend a black tie dinner/dance at the East Midlands Conference Centre to celebrate the Great British Care Awards. Our talented staff reached the final round of the awards in four categories this year: Registered Manager (Emily Smith), Putting people first award (Gaynor Christian, (Activities Co ordinator (Ripley Marriot) and Ancillary Worker (janet King). Although we didn't win the award this year, we are so proud that so many of our team got to the finals so a big well done to all of

Advance Bookings for Santa’s Grotto We are now takings bookings for Children to go and see Santa and his helper in the Grotto on Sat 13th Dec at our xmas market. Each child visiting is £4 and includes an age appropriate gift and photo opportunity. The boking form can be found on the reception desk at Sutton Court.

Professional Photographer Danny Harvey Media will be at the xmas market and will be offering reduced rates on take away photos of your family, or children on the sleigh. If you would like to book a specific time slot, please let Tracy on reception know.

Welcome to Sutton Lodge Jean Smithson.! Jean has recently joined us and we would like to give her a big warm welcome and we hope that she will be very happy with us.

Residents are busy making Christmas decorations namely crackers, decorations for Christmas trees, and table centre pieces for the Lodge

They will be dressing Christmas Shirley,Lottie and Margaret entrees up with their creations and joyed baking while Doreen enwe will look forward to seeing joyed a pampering session .
