AGRO Update
A
GRO (Action Groups Resisting Overdevelopment) were formed to monitor and influence via input into the Rochford District Council (RDC) “New” Local Plan. AGRO suspended their monthly meetings due to the ever increasing delays in producing that Plan. The next stage of the process “Preferred Options” is already six months late but the recent resignations of the lead RDC planners have now extended the delay and the next opportunity to input is now probably a year away. AGRO have carried out some research and come to conclusions that they say is not good news and on the 4th April they will resume their meetings in order to explain. All are welcome to attend these meetings at 7.30pm at Greensward Academy held in Room GG27 in the Creative Arts Block next to the main car park.
