Aaron Roberts Sous Chef, The Toad Aaron started his catering career at the Oak pub in Buckinghamshire as a kitchen assistant before moving to Cyprus with his family were he achieved his NVQ qualifications in a military kitchen with the British army. Aaron moved to North Wales were he started his first full time job as a commis chef at the prestigious Bodysgallen Hall. Aaron blossomed under the inspiring head chef John Williams and was quickly promoted to pastry chef were he enjoyed a successful Eighteen months before taking the challenge of sous chef (2nd in command) at the popular food led pub the Toad on the Colwyn Bay promenade. Aaron is now in his Fourth year and with his hard work and determination has helped turn the Toad into one of the area’s leading food led pubs, with his knowledge of exquisite homemade desserts and attention to detail
