2013 Season Preview
The Carolina Panthers enter the 2013 season on a hot streak, finishing the 2012 season at 7-9. Over the last half of the year, quarterback Cam Newton started to heat up and Luke Kuechly took over the defense. The Panthers shored up their defensive line in the draft and seem to have a very formidable front seven now. The Panthers seem poised to take the next step in making the playoffs, however that will be determined by the play of Cam Newton. It is obvious he has the skill to be dynamic. But can he lead this team? If Cam can, the Panthers will be around come January. If not, the Panthers will again have an average season. My money is on the prior...Panthers sneak in as a wild card. -Chris Miller
