While playing football for Laurier, Jesse received 1st All-Star recognition in 2004 and 2006 and in 2005, was drafted by the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He was signed by the Toronto Argonauts in 2006 and played in 2 games on special teams. In 2006, he was awarded the OUA President’s Trophy for Best Defensive Player.

Dan Bovair Dan was the QB at Burlington Central

where he won 3 Halton country championships. He played at WLU from 1975-77 as a DB and punt/kick returner. In 1977, he was drafted by the Hamilton Tiger Cats and played there in 77-78 and in Toronto in 79. Dan coached in Burlington for 16 years in the minor system as well as the high school level, he has coached both offense and defense. Dan is the national accounts manager for Jones Neon Displays Ltd in Burlington. He resides in Burlington with wife Sylvia and children Daniel and Natalie.

Along with his coaching duties, Steve is the administrator for a new service called the Athletic Academic Success Program, designed to maximize the academic development of student athletes.

Ryan Lynch

Ryan enters his first year as a member of the coaching staff after a five-year career with the purple and gold. A member of the 2005 Vanier Cup winning team, Lynch is a two-time OUA all-star and rushed 3,199 yards and 21 touchdowns in his time with the Golden Hawks.
