Pick-up times are available by placing your selection in your basket - don't worry there's no commitment to buy! Due to the nature of our business all website bookings are provisional until confirmed by us. We ask you for your preferred seating allocation during the booking process and will confirm your seat numbers after you have booked. Cancellations & Refunds. If we are forced to cancel any excursion, a full refund will be made. In the event of a customer cancelling we shall apply charges in line with the scale below. Tickets cannot be transferred to future trips. More than 28 days notice - Full refund, 14 to 28 days notice - Less 25%, 7 to 13 days notice - Less 50%, Less than 7 days notice - No refund. All bookings must be pre-booked - we cannot pick you up if you are not booked. For the vast majority of trips we aim to stay at the destination for around 4 ½ hours. Monday 4th Osborne House – Isle of Wight (EH) ROUTE C Queen Victoria's seaside holiday home is a very popular destination with our customers. A fascinating rare glimpse in to Royal life in the 19th Century, the house has an extravagant interior and there are extensive gardens offering views across the Solent. Take an intimate glimpse into Queen Victoria's family life as you tour the nursery and private rooms of Victoria and Albert. Hughenden Manor, Buckinghamshire - National Trust ROUTE A A highly regarded National Trust property, Hughenden was famously the home of PM Benjamin Disraeli. Surrounded by ancient woodlands and parkland, this impressive Manor House has a huge sense of history - the site of political drama and royal visits. As well as the political intrigue, the Manor also played an important role in World War Two as the RAF had a secret base here. There is a fascinating exhibition covering the houses involvement including a shelter in the basement. Thursday 7th Watercress Railway Line & Jane Austen's House ROUTE A Step back in time to the Golden Age of the train on board one of the Watercress Line's steam or heritage diesel locomotives as they run through ten miles of rolling Hampshire countryside, along the northern edge of the new South Downs National Park. Our day begins as we head to the delightful Hampshire village of Chawton. Jane Austen's House Museum is a fascinating place to visit for anyone with an interest in literature and is located in the heart of the village. We continue to the lovely town of Alton where you can find a nice café for lunch or maybe enjoy a packed lunch in the park. Designed to embody the Prince’s environmental philosophy, there a wide variety of interlinking habitats including The Wild Flower Meadow, The Sundial Garden, The Cottage Garden and much more. We have booked a tour of the gardens led by one of the garden guides, which lasts approximately two hours. Visitors with walking difficulties should be aware that garden routes are unmade with bumpy and uneven surfaces and we suggest wearing stout shoes or wellington boots and suitable clothing. Windsor River Cruise with delicious Ploughman's lunch OR Windsor Only ROUTE A After leaving Windsor Promenade at 11.00am we enjoy excellent views of Windsor Castle and Eton College. After passing Windsor racecourse, the boat goes through Boveney Lock and passes Sutherland Grange, The Willows and Bray Film Studios. It then heads towards Oakley Court, Queen's Eyot and Monkey Island where the boat turns for the journey back to Windsor arriving at 1.30pm. The house contains 18th Century collections of French furniture, paintings, ceramics and textiles. Perhaps the most impressive piece is the famous dolls' house which gives a detailed look of life at that time. The garden is picturesque, primarily foliage, with flowering shrubs, bulbs, perennials and herbaceous plants. When you need a rest, head for the Orangery Café for tea and a bite to eat. Designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, Bath presents some of the finest architectural sights in Europe such as the Royal Crescent, the Circus and Pulteney Bridge alongside a diverse collection of museums and attractions including the Roman Baths, Royal Crescent and Thermae Bath Spa. Bath's compact city centre enjoys a wonderful atmosphere and offers irresistible shopping for that unique gift. ROUTE B Monday 9th Chichester & Arundel Steeped in over 2000 years of history, Chichester is a delightful destination. Dominated by the 900 year old Cathedral the town has many fine buildings and also offers the visitor excellent shopping. After being collected from your home around 6.30am we travel to Folkestone for our Eurotunnel crossing. We shall arrive at the excellent overnight Ibis Hotel near Saran, (Bed & Breakfast) at approximately 7.30pm. Leaving the hotel after breakfast we travel through southern France before entering Spain and arriving at our second overnight hotel in Lloret de Mar. The Hotel Olympic Park offers excellent accommodation with a huge choice of food for dinner. (included) Onwards to Benidorm. Arriving at the hotel around 5.00pm. Relax, settle into your excellent hotel and enjoy the facilities and happy atmosphere around Benidorm. During your time in the town we have included 2 half day excursions. Details available before departure. We shall also organise some exciting optional excursions. Sadly we must depart Benidorm and head home. We follow our outward route and arrive at the Hotel Olympic Park Hotel in Lloret de Mar around 5.00pm. (Dinner included) We travel through France arriving at the Ibis Hotel at Auxerre around 7.30pm (B & B). We head back to Calais for the late afternoon Eurotunnel crossing.
